Rose & Ivy, located in the beautiful two-story, vine-covered historic I.R Burns and H.H. Bell Building right next to the Sarasota Opera House in the heart of Downtown Sarasota. Featuring eclectic Pan-Asian cuisine, with a focus on sushi, sizzling steak, exotic dim sum, a superb beverage program, plus a curated atmosphere like nothing in Sarasota.

The space is a multi-faceted property with large front and courtyard patios with lots of fans for Florida weather, interior dining room and upstairs piano bar. Explore with us from 3PM-12AM, Tuesday through Sunday!

First time there. The food was excellent. It was very busy but we were seated quickly. Server was awesome and several staff checked in. Will definitely return...

Highly recommend Rose and Ivy. Very good and innovative sushi options, small plates also very nice. The restaurant has a great vibe, next time we plan to dinein the courtyard.

So dinner was great! There were 4 of us. We enjoyed 2 appetizers, Hamachili which was delicious and the Rose & Ivy salad, soooooo yummy. 2 of us had the shrimp & scallops with a miso sauce which was delicious as the scallops were perfectly cooked, a Miso Sea Bass that was delicious also but a touch over cooked and a bit firm but tasted delicious as well and had the same sauce as the shrimp & scallops- I’d love the recipe for that sauce and the 4th of us had a NY strip that was also delicious and had an amazing sauce as well and a side of garlic broccolini that I could go back and have a big bowl of that. The service was great, Alex was our server and he was fabulous with great knowledge and recommendations! The upstairs bar was so cool because it was built by Ringling as his prohibition bar. Gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back!

Happy Hour at Rose and Ivy was fantastic! Sergio, our server, was very informed and competent. Always a great evening!

There are numerous choices on the menu. The cocktails are a bit high priced. Overall, it is nice experience.

I made a reservation for lunch through open table and when I got there the restaurant was closed. It looks like a lovely place and everyone says they have good food but obviously their reservation system is broken.

A wonderful experience. 'Only negative comment was that my Manhattan drink was a little on the small side - but an excellent drink.

Everything was great except for the one hostess with dark hair. She was rude and never followed up on our requests.

Service just not there, 40 minutes for food order, food good but left hungry and disappointed after 2 prior excellent experiences. Doubt I will return
