As the oldest public house in Sandhurst, dating back to the 18th century, the Rose & Crown is a part of the town's history as well as a lively community hub in the home of the world famous Sandhurst Military Academy. We're the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy our delicious menu with your favourite drink in hand. We're proud to offer a menu packed with the most appetising dishes. We live locally. This is the first time we've eaten at The Rose & Crown. This was a last-minute booking, so we felt lucky to get a table. We received excellent service and delicious food that was such good value. We will definitely be back again and already look forward to trying something else on the menu.

Really lovely pub. Huge selection of beers. Really nice food (one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve had in a pub, being able to order sides like pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese is a big 👍 from me). Multiple screens inside and outside to watch sport. Live music on at the weekend. And a completely enclosed beer garden that the kids love running around and playing in. What more do you need?

I have 2 or 3 Sunday Lunches at the Rose and Crown every month. They are consistently excellent and really good value. I also love the ambience in the Rose and Crown .... there's always pleasant and friendly people in there.

Had an absolutely delicious 3 course festive meal last night with friends. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we thought it was great value for money. The food tasted freshly cooked and full of flavour!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was exceptional and Jacki personally stopped by our table to offer information about the live music that would be happening after the rugby game. She did it so politely and pleasantly that it made one feel welcome to stay on and enjoy the entertainment. Meal was delivered quickly and very tasty. Would love to make the Rose and Crown our local but unfortunately live 85 miles away. Thank you for a pleasant visit. Will recommend to friends.

It was the first time we had been to the Rose &. Crown. We had the Sunday roast which was excellent and the service was very good. We will certainly be returning and would recommend to friends and family.

Took 3 grandchildren for lunch. Food arrived quickly, drinks were held back until food arrived as requested. Very helpful landlady. A great experience all round.
