As the oldest public house in Sandhurst, dating back to the 18th century, the Rose & Crown is a part of the town's history as well as a lively community hub in the home of the world famous Sandhurst Military Academy. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the roast dinners for all 3 of us were outstanding, bigger than they look too at an amazing price. Made my dad's father's day Will be coming back for another roast very soon

Fantastic venue with great customer services food was really good value and tasty. Nice selection of Sunday roasts with a pleasant atmosphere

Food was lovely, we did have to go to the bar to order our roast even though we had booked a table for Sunday dinner which I did find quite odd. The trio also states online that it comes with pigs in blankets and stuffing for £16.50, however this was not on the menu in the pub and the trio was still £16.50. When we asked at the bar if these were included because they were missing on our plate we were told that they are not part of the roast even though we showed them on the website where it states that they are included in the £16.50 price. Regardless the food was lovely and hot.

Thank you for taking time out to provide a review and so glad you enjoyed your meal. I am sorry that you didn't get your pigs in blankets - from time to time the menu may need to be adapted based on delivery of stock by suppliers or occasionally we do run out. And sometimes we do adapt our menu depending on how many bookings we have, and this might mean the menu on the table is different to what is on the website. Please always feel free to ask a member of the team who should be able to liaise with the kitchen team and update you - apologies if this was not the case when you visited. Great food, the staff are friendly, the pub is nice. The wine isn’t the best though.. personal preference but when eating food we would have preferred better quality wine choices. We will be back for food 😊
