Rosario’sTrattoria is a local Italian restaurant with a casual dining atmosphere.
Neighborhood eatery since 1994. Over 28 years experience serving our neighbors, friends and family in Brooklyn, Hoboken and Midland Park.We focus on serving fresh, high quality ingredients from local sources whenever possible. Our dishes consist of our favorite recipes from home as well as our favorite recipes taught to us by so many amazing chefs.

Our food was wonderful as always. We started with the heirloom burrata, the butternut squash raviolis. My husband had chicken parmigiana. We use to go here all the time when we lived in Bergen County. During Covid time they were our favorite place for takeout and also enjoyed sitting in the lovely tent they had. The staff was great very attentive

We have NEVER had a bad meal here. Service is consistently excellent. Never ask to “look” for your server. They always have different appetizers and main entrees as specials. Their fish and seafood always fresh. They don’t empty your pockets to dine there.

Bret, our waiter is always responsive and attentive. We love to start with Calamari Rosario, a very full plate that 4 people can share! Delicious! Tonight we brought new guests and they loved their meals Gnocci and a Seafood medley! I had the eggplant Parmesan and my husband had veal Parmesan.. we had to bring 3/4 of our meals home it was so so large. Rosario is always very warm and inviting, he wasn’t there tonight, but Chris is very accommodating as well! We for sure recommend coming in no.. trust me, you will enjoy it!! BYOB.. Bon appetite!!

There was not a greeter when we entered. We had reservation for 6 people but the table only had 5 chairs and settings. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. He was polite and friendly. The mussels and octopus were tender and properly cooked. The scallops were underwhelming in size for the price. The mushroom risotto was salty. The coconut grouper was done okay. The risotto was also salty. The desserts were all pretty good.

Restaurant is dated needs major update. Pasta with clams was swimming in butter n no taste. Salad was fair. Waiter was very accommodating.
