La 2ème succursale tant attendue du Rosa Mexicano a ouvert ses portes en juillet 2000. À quelques pas du Lincoln Center, cet impressionnant espace conçu par David Rockwell dispose d'un mur d'eau de 30 pieds couvrant les deux niveaux du restaurant, irisé de tuiles bleues et orné de 240 plongeurs miniatures. Il offre également un escalier "flottant" spectaculaire tout en dalles de terrazzo, dans les tons d'orange et de rouge, et des panneaux rétroéclairés derrière le bar décoré de pétales de rose. Elu "Best Restaurant 2000" par l'Interiors Magazine, son look contemporain unique a inauguré une nouvelle ère pour l'établissememt.

Superb service; everyone amazingly attentive. Food excellent. But, too loud (music); could hardly hear companion at same table. Would however happily return ~~ Again, food + most accommodating staff = wonderful evening. Jay Starr

Comimos muy bien , pero nos molestó que nos apuraran para todo , estaban todo el tiempo viendo cómo hacer todo más rápido para que nos vayamos lo antes posible , entiendo que era año nuevo pero si no quieren que estés ni una hora comiendo , que no reserven al público en general. Nos gustó mucho el lugar , salvo por ese detalle.

excellent food but POOR service with blame obviously attributable NOT to the staff BUT TO STAFFING. Floor was clearly understaffed with its manager bussing tables, taking orders (oddly delivered, like food without utensils for eating it. Long wait for dessert (flan) as if the wait for dinner was itself long enough.

Hostess was exceptionally rude. Was early for reservations told me all walk ins would be seated first. No suggestions on moving up reservations and didn’t deliver message politely or professionally.

Really nice restaurant. The food and service are very good and reliably so. The restaurant is also clean, which is a must for us. The environment is a little noisy for me but not nearly as loud as some NYC restaurants. Glad to have dined there again!

Meal was adequate - guacamole was good, ceviche was way too salty, otherwise nothing notable. Kids meals were appropriately portioned. We were sat in a windowless room in the back, which lacked ambiance.

We’ve been there many times but not in the past few years until today. Guacamole was good. Huevos rancheros was didn’t have much chili, had hard tortilla shells and a scrambled egg. At other restaurants the dish has been better with much more chili, soft tortillas and runny eggs such as sunny side up. Duck carnitas were disappointing, not much taste. Service was good, efficient and friendly. Overall I thought the food was not nearly as good as it was every other time we’ve been there. This is the first time at brunch so maybe they are better at dinner.

The restaurant is located in a very convenient spot. The service is speedy and friendly. The food is authentic, and the second-floor tables have a nice view of the street and the Lincoln Center
