Rosa Madre is the most authentic Italian restaurant in Dublin. We are located in the heart of Dublin, one of the most exciting and vibrant areas of Dublin with great shops, bars and many five stars hotels.

We specialize in fresh fish, delivered daily by local suppliers and we guarantee to always have the finest quality available. Our seafood cuisine is characterized by the simple quality of the catch. We place our orders during the night, directly from the port where the fish is delivered to ensure we always get the freshest product available.

Rosa Madre was the meal highlight of my 7 day trip to Dublin. The food is WONDERFUL. But the focaccia bread was top tier!! The owner's wife makes it daily. There are limited quanities of it so try to arrive early. We went for a work group dinner in 2024. I returned in March 2025 with my sister because the resturant was so nice. I especially was looking for the bread but because we had an 8pm reservation that were out. The owner Luca saw we were disapointed and offered to save bread for us the next day even though I wouldn't be able to arrive until 9 pm. As promoised the next day we arrived at 9:10 pm and Luca told us to wait 10 to 15 mins while they cooked the bread for us. It was simply delicious. I took 3 friends that night and they all said it was the best food that they had in Dublin. The ambience, food, cocktails and service all TOP TIER. I highly recommend to Americans or anyone visiting Dublin.

A friend recommended this restaurant and it was so amazing. The crab pasta and ravioli were both incredible.

Loved everything about this restaurant! Super location. Staff very friendly and looked happy to be working here! Interiors and ambiance just perfect! We ordered the scallops from Castletownbere, Dublin bay prawns and lobster, tiramisu for dessert. Two glasses of wine. The fish was excellent perfectly cooked. Loved the presentation. Staff also very knowledgeable re wine list! Very quick service. Great night here and will definitely return. Value was excellent.

The only thing I can say Rosa Madre is missing, is its Michelin Star.

My first time at this outstanding restaurant and it lived up to my expectations. Service was exceptional and food was delicious. It was a birthday treat for my lovely friend and all 3 of us had a lovely memorable night. Many thanks to the lovely lady who looked after us, put a candle in desert for my friend and let us keep the table to enjoy another bottle of wine. I’ll certainly return and I highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

First time diner, and it’s a definite return. Walking in you are greeted by everyone. Service was awesome - not over bearing but very knowledgeable and attentive when needed. Food is spectacular and super value. Scallops to start were fabulous but the sausage ragu with paccheri was incredible. Tiramisu was possibly best I’ve ever had - so light but packing a punch. Barolo was just awesome and full team very knowledgeable about all wines Strongly recommend, great experience
