Welcome to ROOTS 95 Craft Kitchen and bar! Mora is taking the "Craft" part of the name very seriously. As it suggests, craft food emphasizes handcrafted, chef-driven food (versus cookie-cutter menus you see everywhere), made from fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, often with globally inspired flavors.

We chose a 4m reservation, because weather was blowing in. That left us to chose from either the happy hour menu of small plates, or the main menu. We have eaten here before, so we knew what to expect. There is a well-curated menu of enough variety that we always have options. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about ingredients, and always ready to make recommendations, if asked. The food is delightfully plated, not overwhelming, in size or seasoning. He had the Alfredo and I had the Scottish salmon with rice. There was enough left from my plate to take a taste home for the dogs, but his was gone. We did get a slice of cheesecake to split for dessert…soft, tender, and not too sweet. Perfect size. As we left, we marveled at how calm we were and how well fed. No pressure, great escape for food and relaxing conversation. But..make a reservation. You might feel silly about it, making a 4pm reservation, but last week we tried to walk in at 5, and ended up going elsewhere. And they have recently changed their hours to make lunches extend to happy hour.

We had a fantastic dinner at Roots95 last night! I ordered the hanger steak, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, with a great balance of seasoning and tenderness. My fiancée tried the Thai pasta, and it was a delightful mix of bold, savory, and slightly spicy flavors that really impressed us both. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Nice flavors, reasonable prices for the quality. Excellent server who made helpful suggestions and was very proud of the restaurant. We will return soon.

Food was great. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers which was cooked perfectly. Love the Bang Bang sauce. My husband had the steak Diane and I had the pasta carbonara. We both enjoyed our meals. Prices are a little steep but food was really good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He asked if we would like recommendations since we hadn't been there before.

Held a business dinner for 5 people here and got great service and we all enjoyed our main entrees and shared appetizers.

Food was excellent and unique. Excellent Bang Bang Shrimp and Bao Buns, lots of cilantro! Chicken with Chardonnay sauce was great, Thai pasta excellent. Will come again to try more things.

First time trying this place. Saturday night. You need a reservation. Service was great. Food was ok. Chicken dumplings were a bit burned which caused the smoke flavor to overpower the whole plate. Had the coconut snapper - good piece of fish but again a little burnt. Potatoes and asparagus were perfect. Wife has the thai pasta and it was great. Entrees were 25 bucks which seemed like a great value. Will try again.

All phases of this experience was excellent. Food was outstanding, service timely, and server (Dillon) was professional and courteous.
