We love Indian food, however most restaurants are all the same. Roots was simply fantastic, and highly recommend to all foodies out there! The range of starters are really well thought out and some pleasant surprises. We would certainly be back!

A brilliant find. Such a beautiful restaurant, welcoming, friendly and attentive staff, food had such lovely unusual flavours, except the side dish of saag/mushrooms - very bland and we wondered if all spices had been forgotten! Despite this, given our overall experience and the pricing which was amazingly good, we would definitely book again

Extremely slow service. Placed the full order within 5 minutes of arriving but it took ages for them to serve the food despite the restaurant not being busy. The taste was ordinary despite the waiting time. Even getting a bottle of water took 20 minutes! Would not visit again.

From starters to the dessert the food and service was outstanding. Everything throughout the restaurant involves a lot of thought and care this translates into the food as it was the most flavoursome Indian food I and my family have had in the Richmond borough hands down. We went for their take on a Sunday roast … quite frankly it’s better than an actual roast. Highly recommend for takeaway or sitting in service is terrific and very welcoming 5 stars
