Our server was very distracted and the food came out cold. My wife’s steak was way under cooked and very fatty. When they took her plate to remake it they brought back her steak with none of her sides or aus-ju. Then walked away. Was not worth the $200 we spent.

Hush puppies were over fried. The drinks were good. The chicken was dry. It was okay.

Nice change of pace from other area restaurants with tasty and diverse offerings, but it's higher priced so most likely we'll visit only for special occasions, entertaining out of town friends, etc.

Went in excited as the menu sounded very good. My friend and I both had never been before. The food was very bland. Was so excited for the cornbread which they tout as being beloved. It had no flavor which was very confusing. Zero flavor, not even of cornbread. I honestly wonder if it was even made correctly because I don’t understand how it could be loved at all. If I didn’t eat it with the sour cream then it was like eating nothing. My friend had the fried chicken and said the same. It felt to me like they have become popular for the idea of what they are and not really what they are. My butternut squash was just okay as well. It sounded better on the menu than it was in was in reality. The deviled eggs were the best thing we had but were again, not exceptional by any means. We both said we would not come back. TLDR; disappointing.

Shrimp and grits were superb. Michael, our server, took excellent care of us. We will be back.

Our server was spectacular. Perfect level of attentiveness, and she did everything she could to ensure we had a good experience. The deviled egg and bacon board starter were delicious, absolutely outstanding. Cocktail was on point. Only criticism was for our mains. Duck was mediocre, as was shrimp and grits. We'll still be back to sample more of the menu.

Excellent meal. We enjoyed the bacon board, angel biscuits, several cocktails, and entrees. My spouse had the 1/2 rack of spare ribs and I had the brisket meatloaf. Both were delicious and perfectly done. We loved the corn soufflé as well. Our waitress was wonderful, so friendly, and helpful as we made decisions. We really appreciated that she comped our dessert since the kitchen was a bit behind and overwhelmed. We really enjoyed the evening and will return. Thank you!

We dined alfresco on Monday evening it was so nice out. The appetizers, salads & entree" were all very tasty & served in a timely professional manner.

Great meal, as usual. Service was perfect as we were celebrating my friend’s 29th birthday. Again. This is my favorite restaurant!
