Delicious earthy food with creative selections. And reasonable proportions. Fun decor and a fun atmosphere. A little noisy. Very pleasant attentive waiter Caleb. We will definitely be back!!!

We really enjoyed the food and service at Root & Bone. The brisket meatloaf was fantastic!! Will be back next time I’m in town!

This was our first time to Root & Bone in Chesterton, IN. We were very happy with our unique meatloaf dinners. It is so nice to have a good presentation to go along with excellent food. Root & Bone is different than most restaurants in our area. It is definitely upscale, but they emphasize Southern comfort food. We are adding R & B to our rotation of restaurants which we frequent on Friday nights.

It was so loud in the dining room we couldn’t hear each other. I felt so bad because it was my Mother’s birthday and she couldn’t really talk to us - did not feel like a celebration. The food and services were ok. Not as good as the Indy location.

Nice casual atmosphere with great food and service. Both he ribeye and the salmon were excellent gluten free options.

This is one of the very best restaurants in Northwest Indiana. The food is exceptional. Service and atmosphere excellent. Prices reasonable. Highly recommend.
