Owners Jim and Jennifer Telford, along with partner and Executive Chef Justine Kelly offers guests a beautiful outdoor lounge for dining out with friends. Besides the picturesque surroundings that also showcases downtown Walnut Creek, Rooftop has a living wall with lush greenery and water features. Guests can feast on black cod wrapped in a banana leaf with pea shoots, lamb meatballs or other flavorful plates. Delicious desserts, fresh salads and bar bites will also satisfy the appetite. Join us for a memorable weekend enjoy the best views of the city! For parties of more than six guests, a food and beverage minimum spend of $50 per person is required. On Fridays and Saturdays, we can accommodate up to 12 guests per reservation. Please note that table dining times are limited to two hours. Many of our tables are high-tops with backless chairs; if this seating arrangement doesn’t work for your group, kindly request accommodations in advance. We offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, please give us a call. Seating and location are subject to availability. A 20% service charge will be applied to your bill. We look forward to welcoming you!

I had a great time but the heater made my husband super hot. We didn’t know that they wasn’t serving the full menu.

We loved our time at Rooftop. It was our first time and was pleasantly surprised. We loved our appetizers especially the Burrata and the dumplings. Very tasty. The calamari although also tasty could have better batter. It was a little thick. We tried all the entries. My husband especially enjoyed the surf and turf. We also loved the ravioli with mushroom and the salmon that I ordered was perfect. My bro in law enjoyed his order if the short ribs. All gone!! Dessert was great too. We had the butter cake and the lava cake.

Everything was perfect. Great food and excellent service. This is the place to go for a nice date.

The restaurant had a lovely decor for Valentines Day… The service staff were so great! And the food was out of this world… oh and the Butter cake that we shared was the best ever.

I took my lady to an early valentine's date. Rainy night! Street parking is challenging, you have to use the parking garage, not too far away. When we got there the hostess set us up at a window seat which was nice except for the fact that it was storming out and the roof leaked right by our table LOL! The service staff was there in an instant and moved us accordingly. The ambiance was warm, fun, and the place is lively! And a bit loud. But the experience was worth it! Overall, we had a great time; the service was excellent, the waiter was knowledgeable-friendly and efficient (Nick). And the food was excellent! I was really delighted cus you just don't get that at many restaurants these days. I had the short ribs that were done perfectly on a bed of with ornately placed vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes. My date had a bowl of steamers and mussels with a flavorful broth, and it was sprinkled with fries...great touch! Our wine choice was their Cote du Rhone red which paired very well with the short ribs. For dessert we had their warmed chocolate cake with gelato, it was great. We will not hesitate to come back.

The food came out so fast and our server had the perfect amount of attentiveness. The espresso martini was amazing

It's a roof top venue. They had heaters however they automatically shut off about 30 minutes into our lunch on a 55-degree day. As the venue filled with customers, our server was stretched thin, and we waited for some time to ask for the check. The food was meh, prices a bit high. This will probably be a pass for me in the future as there are other venues with better food and service.
