Owners Jim and Jennifer Telford, along with partner and Executive Chef Justine Kelly offers guests a beautiful outdoor lounge for dining out with friends. Besides the picturesque surroundings that also showcases downtown Walnut Creek, Rooftop has a living wall with lush greenery and water features. Guests can feast on black cod wrapped in a banana leaf with pea shoots, lamb meatballs or other flavorful plates. Delicious desserts, fresh salads and bar bites will also satisfy the appetite. With mentions in publications like Diablo Magazine and California Home Design, Rooftop is a wonderful location for a business lunch or a romantic evening out with a date. Visit us on Friday with your friends and enjoy the best views of the city. For reservations more than 6 guests food & beverage minimum spend of $80 per person is required. Friday & Saturday we take up to 12 guests. Table dining times are limited to two hours. Many tables are tall high-top tables with backless chairs, please request accommodations if this will not work for your group. We have a 15 minutes grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your reservation time. Location and seating are based on availability. 20% service charge will be applied.

Shishito peppers and chicken karaage were very good, roasted brussels sprouts were ok. Citrus Blossom was excellent. Misters were nice. The complimentary red velvet cupcake for my friend's birthday was yummy. My fourth time to Rooftop, always pleasantly consistent.

Our first experience at Rooftop Restaurant will hopefully be the first of many. The ambience of this rooftop oasis was so relaxing. We were immediately seated and offered water and drinks by Amaury. He helped us to determine what we might most like to order and the dishes were both tasty and beautifully presented. Amaury was attentive, while not bothersome, throughout our visit! Thanks to the Rooftop and Amaury for the wonderful lunch!

Everyone but the waitress were very nice and efficient. The place was almost empty and from the minute we sat down the waitress rushed us, did not ask if I wanted to order a drink..just brought us waters and kept asking if we were ready to order lunch. I had to tell her that first I wanted to order a glass of wine. She did not take our dishes once we finished, even though I order a second dish and there was no room on the table with the empty dishes. Since it was my birthday she brought a small cupcake while I was still eating my dish and wanted to light the candle. I wasn't even ready since I was still chewing. Just felt extremely rushed.

The place is very appealing. The noise level isn't. The music needs to be turned down. I couldn't even hear my date speak. They are understaffed. The waitress was polite. I don't know if I'd go back again. The rooftop idea is novel. All of the outdoor heaters were broken.

This is a fantastic spot! Great food and the rooftop location is great for sunny afternoons or warm summer evenings. We were serviced by Amari and he was attentive offering some great recommendations! I had the scallops preceded by a great Caesar salad ! We closed with the pound cake, which is incredible! Can’t wait til my next visit! Well done Rooftop!

First time visiting Rooftop at Walnut Creek, and it won’t be the last! The staff was incredibly attentive and polite, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, with a variety of options that cater to different tastes. The happy hour combos are fantastic—definitely a great value. Highly recommend this place, and I’m looking forward to coming back!
