The RoofTop at Exchange Place restaurant tops Jersey City’s must-see lists with its stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, Hudson River, Statue of Liberty and beyond. The RoofTop at Exchange Place provides year-round urban chic vibes with its retractable glass roof and walls which creates the perfect setting for craft cocktails and chef curated small bites with a view. Take advantage of the outdoor patio with the fireplace to watch the sunset dance over the NYC buildings.

The food here is very mediocre, the view is all that counts. Other than that the service was slow and food came out burnt. It was an unfortunate experience and I will not be going back.

Our waiter had absolutely no interest in our tiny table of two, even though he had no other tables. Not worth the time or the money.

Waitress spends too much time checking her phone behind the bar rather than checking on the table. Starters came out fast. Meals came out slow and cold. Been there, done that, moving on, nothing to brag about.

You pay for the ambiance. Food was okay, lobster Mac and cheese was good and the tots. If you’re looking to get full, this is not the place but the ambiance and the cocktails are excellent

Do not eat there! Firstly, they gave no menus to hand out, you must use your phone. The food is below average. They only offer bar food, there is no full kitchen. Ordered chicken wings - rubbery, no celery or veggies were served with the wings. Then ordered a steak - was not fresh, tasted like it was sitting in their fridge already cooked for a few days and reheated. Salad was okay, however it was so windy that salad pieces were gotten blown out of our plates. When we asked if they could close the balcony door so we could consume our food without trying to hold on to our hair and the food before it flew away they said they couldn’t. It’s a good spot for drinks and the view of the Manhattan. But you can get that from the street downstairs too. Don’t wear a hat or a wig if you go there, also no need to spend time on doing your hair either.
