The cook was no fun. Didn’t want to talk when asked questions. The cook just wanted to cook and get his job done. The waitress was trying to rush us out the door. It seems like she didn’t like that we were Mexican and there were only three of us to serve. This was one of the worst experiences I had with the service at the restaurant. The food was great.

I came there that evening on a Sunday I requested for the Cheff EDA outstanding work. The waitress that was supporting us that evening was lacking and just not doing a great job where the salad not out on time her Rhythm was focused elsewhere, sitting down like if it was break time. The soup was cold it and I didn’t get the stuff I requested from the waitress. I requested the from the chef’s that she needed to get removed or I would leave the table the difference maker CHEF EDA corrected all the wrong errors this waitress caused me a bad start. I am pleased to say Host Oscar does give the effort to make it a positive experience. The Chef made it a positive, food quality was great the food is fresh and cooked to perfection, so perfect Chef EDA doesn’t have to be reminded as it’s his priory to present the best customer satisfaction especially when you’re the consumer and it reflects on the entire visit don’t be afraid to change chefs or waitress sloppy will not cut it especially if you’re spending good money. Thank you Chef EDA for correcting my dinner expectations and the experience means so much better.

Chef EDA the most popular demand ChEf , I return because of him. The prep ingredients is key he is always ready. Mrs. Donna waited on my table was amazing did not leave the table and check on us periodically. Chef EDA has the perfect touch without the friendly customer service this would not be possible he goes the extra mile to ensure my kids family gets the most comfort experience and the food of quality glows amazingly. The flavor he puts on his years of experience has no match. Chef EDA is the key without delay request for him you will not regret it. Try his Garlic butter on your shrimp WOW!! The Host Oscar is just the back bone of this place he comes back and all we can say he cares seats us down makes sure we are served and goes on. The only thing I ask of my friend Oscar is to read the customers requests on the reservations. Thank you Ron Of Japan and friends.

USED to love this restaurant. Took my wife there for birthday. Service was horrible. Chef even worse. Kept my unhappiness in check. As I was leaving then I told the manager my concerns about the situation. He then offered me compensation. Never received them. Told me to come in and pick them up…. Get there and the coupons didn’t even cover her meal. VERY Disappointed and will never go back again after 35 years 😞

I have eaten at so many hibachi restaurants this is by far the worst I have ever had. The food was flavorless and all the food had a yellow product which I thought was butter on it which again was tasteless and to be honest gross. I would not go back again. And it was more expensive than most places of this type of food.

Extremely Disappointing Dining Experience at Ron of Japan I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the dining experience my family and I had at Ron of Japan, which was, by far, the worst I have encountered in my 23 years of visiting your restaurant. We had high expectations for a special occasion, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short. Upon arrival, we were not greeted at the front, and it took some time before we were seated. Once seated, we waited for 25 minutes without any interaction, and no water was offered. We had to ask a busser to inform our server that we were waiting. After placing our drink and food orders, we waited an additional 15 minutes, during which my server forgot to bring my requested lemon and did not explain that we needed to place a separate order for an additional guest joining us. Moreover, the service was subpar throughout the meal. My brother’s salad was never brought to the table, and my son's ice cream was forgotten. When we addressed the issues, the server simply remarked that she was "swamped," instead of offering a sincere apology for the oversight. The main course, unfortunately, was another disappointment. We waited for over an hour for the chef to arrive, and when he did, the quality of the food was disappointing. The vegetables were overcooked and blackened, the steak was excessively salty with an overwhelming amount of soy sauce, and the lobster portions were small. Additionally, the chef served larger portions to other guests at the table beside ours. To make matters worse, there was no attempt by the chef to perform any tricks or display any of the usual teppanyaki skills we’ve come to enjoy. The only "performance" was a large flame that generated so much smoke it made the chef cough, even while wearing a mask. This was particularly disappointing, as we were celebrating my son’s birthday, and he left feeling upset after noticing that other tables had received more
