Pleasantly surprised! My husband and I decided to try this restaurant because it was off the beaten path. We were seated right away, and the restaurant is large-but cozy. Loved all of the decor and the ambiance. Staff was very prompt and friendly. Offered water choices right away. Menu was one page-not large but had options. We received a free amuse-bouche of sautéed cherry tomatoes with olive oil and basil with some small, chunked parmesan cheese for their cheese wheel and 2 green Spanish pimento olives (kalamata olives would have been better). It was a nice touch. Cocktail was good and price point was ok. We split a yummy Ceasar salad and then I had the parm wheel special pasta, my husband ordered a pasta from the regular menu. His came and was delicious! Mine was made tableside by a really sweet waiter. It was good, but I was disappointed because it was advertised as a 'truffle/guanciale cream pasta. Unfortunately, it was not truffle- it was fungi (regular mushrooms) the pasta was good, and the flavor was nice, but I had wanted truffle and ordered wine to go with truffle. They should call it Fungi instead. They gave us the MOST DELICIOUS Tiramisù dessert on the house. All in all-we will be going again for sure!

Second visit here and it did not disappoint! Came through to celebrate my daughter’s new job and Salvatore was such a gracious server alongside the other servers who helped out! Espresso martinis were a hit that my daughter and I had to order two! Pasta wheel was so good - today’s special was fettuccine with a truffle cream sauce with mushrooms and bits of bacon - chef’s kiss! Oysters, calamari, lamb, pizza, and oxtail lasagna were all exceptional! The closest to Rome you’ll ever get in San Diego. Definitely a family staple for us! And thank you for the celebratory tiramisu!! It was delicious!

Clean and modern with inside and outside dining. Excellent choice for Little Italy italian dining. Tasty drinks, reasonable prices, amazing food. Cheese Wheel Pasta, Branzino, and Tartufo were all so good! Will be back again.

Everything was amazing other than sitting right outside the kitchen window. If there was a partition between the kitchen hen window and the seats it would have made all the difference in the atmosphere.

Disappointed in the food. The pasta sauce was acidic, the baked artichokes were sour, but the cocktail was good and good service!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner - would recommend the zucchini blossoms and artichoke heart appetizers and the cheese wheel pasta for sure ...

Service and food were outstanding! Personally, I think the Cheese Wheel pasta is a MUST! Outstanding!

Great meal, great service, and great atmosphere (a little loud but that’s ok). Gianluca was fantastic and gave us that authentic Naples energy and fantastic recommendations. Will be back for sure.

What a great experience. We were greeted by Julia, who was lovely and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We sat at the bar where Jorge served a delicious limoncello spritz. The cacio e Pepe was second to none, as were the meatballs. It’s a must in Little Italy.

i wish i could give this place 6 stars!!! I’ve seen this place advertise on social media and it lived up to the hype. The late night happy hour was killer. A whole bottle of wine AND appetizer for $25? to die for but the service!! the service was even better. Will definitely be bringing my family here when they visit!
