First time at Rokka to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was impressive! Live music, good drinks, and good food. We had such a great time and great service. Thank you!

This is the first time eating at the Whitter location. The menu seemed to be scaled down and the prices scaled up, Overall lunch plus three cocktails for two people was 167.00 for lunch. The food was good, but I consider it pricey.

I recently dined at Rokka Grill and Whiskey Bar in Whittier and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the drinks were amazing, and the service was outstanding – our server was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. However, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the Rokka burger, which came with three types of meat. Unfortunately, two of the three meats were overcooked, making them rough and it didn't help that the burger already felt dry. The yuca fries were tasty overall, but one of them was so rough it felt like chewing a stick. Given the quality of the food, I find it hard to justify the cost. I hope they can improve the consistency of their dishes, as the other aspects of the restaurant were quite enjoyable.

They have a whiskey list, but you have to ask for it. Otherwise, their list of cocktails is extensive enough for most palates, and I love their new "brunch cocktail" list! Brunch dishes were excellent and great for the value. The service and bartending was a tad slow on a Sunday, but I imagine it will smooth out to be efficient and faster over some more time. Still, a worthy spot for your special brunch, or night out!
