Nice quiet atmosphere, quick service, good margarita list. Food OK, not very authentic Mexican but tasty. Portions are not huge. It will not be my favorite restaurant, but probably will go back.

I was neither impressed or disappointed. The service was great , but the food was just ok. We had to stand there and wait for a table when it wasn't even busy. I probably wouldn't go back just because it was just ok.

The food was pretty good. Ine if the better Mexican restaurants in the area. Hot and great flavors. The location of being in the mall created a less than desirable ambience. The service was good but the server wasn't too knowledgeable about the dishes. Would go again or try other location of this restaurant group.

Large portions, love the individual salsa dishes, awesome waiter. We had a larger party. Person delivering food was a bit blunt/too casual. Salad dressing wasn't great. Ambiance- it's in a mall. I wish they would have closed the folding doors that opened to the mall. Overall, the service from our waiter would bring us back. 😊

The noise level was high. There were two of us; we both ordered chicken fajita salads. The salads were small for the price which was charged and there was too much vinegar in the dressing. Our server was the most positive aspect of our visit.

Appetizers were burnt, salmon tacos had no flavor and were Luke warm, hot sauce for salsa was not brought out till almost the end of the meal, and only after asking 3 times and place wasn't busy. I used to love this place until they moved, now they are a horrible place to go. Will try other rojo one more time, if bad then I'm done.

This is a mall restaurant so our expectations were low during our trip stopover in Detroit. Service was perfect, and the food was plentiful. We ordered standard Mexican fare, and that's what we got. The food was not exceptional. They had a guy playing guitar and singing. Although he was no star, I loved that the restaurant will allow folks with the nerve to perform that opportunity. He sang cover songs and played the guitar, and it was kind of fun.

I am a regular Rojo customer and have often eaten at the Rochester Hills and Birmingham location. This was our first time to eat at the Lakeside Mall location. The restaurant was empty but the service was slow. We sat outside and we were one of the two parties there. We ordered the usual but found the quantity of food to be less than the other locations. The sever rarely came out to ask how the food was and it a long time to get the check. If I were to choose a Rojo restaurant, I prefer the Rochester Hills location over the other two.

Rojos was the perfect place to meet and chat for hours while having good food and service that was beyond pleasant. The Table-side guacamole was perfect!
