Lovely meal, visiting for first time. Would come back again when a bit sunnier, sit on terrace.

We really enjoyed our visit. Food, service & ambiance all good. We will visit again. Advice re PARKING would have been helpful !!! In fact, parking is plentiful across harbour from Roc Salt.

Our fourth visit to this lovely restaurant. Staff friendly and attentive. Pre booking your table is highly recommended although yesterdays visit, showed it wasn’t busy. Instead of a fish course, we decided to share chateaubriand. A little disappointed but still ate it all. Lovely weather to watch the tide going out and the little trawlers bobbing in the old harbour. A walk along the promenade and/or to the old station is recommended.

The food is fantastic and tasty, especially the fish are fresh. Just got minor issue about the guard blocking us for wearing sport trousers but finally solved to discuss with manager, it’s doesn’t know need a smart casual wear need and show on website as I am the first visit there.

The experience of very good food and some good service was spoilt by arriving at the booked time and being told our allocated table was still occupied and it was 35 minutes until we were taken to it. Staff were apologetic and staff were generally attentive some more than the others. The restaurant was busy but our order was taken fairly promptly and the food arrived in a timely manner.

Fabulous food and service at Rocksalt. Definitely recommend. A bit too noisy with the additional music coming from the bar upstairs

Excellent food quality. Beautiful lobster, both in the quality of the ingredients and the cooking. Staff attentive , friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. The view speaks for itself !
