Delicious Sunday lunch - the porchetta was especially good and definitely recommended. Great location and setting.

Fantastic experience. All the staff were professional and yet still very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had.

Visiting Folkestone for the first time. This is a Great restaurant, the food was excellent..we had the Crab and fish soup starter and Cod loin for main We will be coming back, a summer visit perhaps 🤔

Late booking but nice table for two on a busy Friday - excellent attentive service and a hot seafood platter that was both generous in portion and absolutely delicious.

Found some of the staff rude and sarcastic when asking questions. Wasn’t really much on the menu that stood out as like previous visits.

We arrived on time for our table @14.15pm on Sunday the 27th we placed our order by 14.30pm but our food took till 16.10pm to arrive and when it did the beef was almost cold and very chewy I ordered Rare it came well done the Yorkshire pudding was tasteless and obviously been on the side for a while all in all not great for a Restaurant that 12 months ago for the same meal was Amazing the view over the Harbour sells this place but the service has unfortunately let it down. On leaving the restaurant and looking in to the kitchen there was only 2 staff members working so I assume they were under staffed if they had told us at the time of arriving we would at least understood what the issue was rather then just leaving us to feel forgotten.

Food was lovely. Unfortunately the overall service wasn’t great. We had to wait a long time between courses or to just order another drink. We were served by about 5 different staff throughout the course of our meal. Could have been fantastic but I think the staff need to be more observant as that let it down somewhat. I would recommend it to others.

Everything about our visit to Rocksalt was outstanding. The warm and friendly staff were very welcoming. We had cocktails in the bar before being shown to our table. The food was delicious and such great quality ingredients. Also the wine list was amazing. Every member of staff we interacted with was knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. We stayed overnight in the rooms that are part of the restaurant and had breakfast in Rocksalt the following morning. Again the food was great and the staff lovely. We will be back!!

My Mother has an allium allergy and rarely finds a restaurant able to cater to her, however Rocksalt did cater and was very helpful. The food and service were lovely and made even lovelier by eating in the sunshine on the balcony. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
