Overall, good. Fried seafood needs more seasoning ing, meaning season actual seafood before battering to fry. Molten cake was not warm on inside..

Nice place to try for dinner. Friendly staff and good food. I would like to come back in summer for waterside dining.

We had dinner at Rocks 21 with our friends to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We had cocktails at the bar before dinner and it was a great experience. Dan was behind the bar making great cocktails. Alexis was a joy to have as a server. She was friendly and very informative about the menu. We heard about the Rocks 21 through our friends and it was everything that they had talked about. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you for a great evening. Charlie and Debbie

Rocks 21 sits on the same grounds as the famous Mystic Inn so nearly every table as a few of the water. Rocks has several levels & outdoor dining as well. Room are beautiful. Staff are attentive without being intrusive. Evan was our server and he was a delight ! Rocks has an extensive menu of seafood but many other items such as steak, burgers, salad and coal-fired pizza. We shared fried calamari that also had fried peppers. I've never had it this but was delicious. My husband had Maine Lobster with French fries & Margarita Cole slaw which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the fisherman's platter fried ( which you can also order broiled). It had a very generous portion of local bay scallops, shrimp & a huge portion of cod. There was also Fries and Margarita Cole Slaw. Fish was very fresh and not greasy or oily. There were 4 tables dining and one group was large and noise level was minimal. Reasonable prices and you feel the staff cares about your dining experience.

Very pleasant hosts and waitstaff. Good drinks, but expensive for this restaurant type. Good is nice--note that lobster in avocado halves salad is really Mayo-based lister salad inside an avocado cup, not just lobster meat at $28 for an avocado with chopped lobster in lots of dressing scooped in. Other seafood was good. Nice view.

Made reservation for a table. For some reason we could not sit in the dining room. Our only option was the bar. Chose a table as far away from the live music(one man and a guitar) as possible. 1. Took forever to be acknowledged. Was about to walk out but someone finally came over. 2. Music was EXTREMELY loud and quite frankly the singer was tough to listen to. 3. My burger had no flavor. Will not be going back. Unfortunate for them as I spend every weekend in Mystic with my family.

No complaints except for the tables they put together to accommodate the group. It reminded me of Thanksgiving, one big table for the adults, and one very small table for the kids except we were all adults. It was just awkward for those sitting at the small table.

Older style but very nice … large Inn , beautiful view of channel and sound . Very easy access to downtown and to drawbridge. 5 min to museum and about 5-10 min to I 95 . We ate very early afternoon mussels, lobster bisque. And Scampi were great
