Rockpool was EXCELLENT!! We thought it would be good, but it was amazing! Totally going back! Service was as excellent as the food!

This place was such great value. $78 for 16 pc. Omakase style experience. Every piece we had was delectable. Especially loved the lobster hand roll and otoro nigiri. Slightly higher rice to fish ratio than I prefer but that meant I was definitely full by the end of our meal.

It’s always a pleasure to see Ayako-san. She’s such a hard worker—attentive, sweet, and dedicated. The prices are incredibly affordable, offering excellent value for sushi. The experience was well worth the 3-hour drive back and forth. Thank you, Team Rockpool California! I look forward to visiting again soon!

Best sushi in town. You get more than you pay! You can not go back to LA famous sushi place to pay over $200

Best Sushi in LA! Many LA sushi restaurant over charged and they care about things more than actually sushi. but this place you get more experience then you paid!

So glad to have found this gem before it’s impossible to get a reservation. The omakase was beautiful- uni, sweet shrimp, local fish- 12/10 recommend. Everything from the quality of the food to the impeccable service was top notch. We were so lucky to snag a seat at then bar. Will definitely be back soon!
