WELCOME TO THE ROCK HOUSE
The Rock House is an epic community pub situated in the heart of Eccles. We're the only place to be for live sport, a catch up with mates in the sun-trap beer garden, hearty pub food and of course where the party goes on long into the night!
We serve food:
Monday- Saturday: 12PM - 9PM
Sunday: 12PM - 7PM

Christmas is so much more than just the big day itself and we'll keep the festivities going all the way through December into the bright lights of 2025! Our 2 or 3 course festive menu is available from 20th November to 31st December and we've got a table waiting for you! Secure your booking now with a £5pp deposit.

Website needs updating. We booked a table for 8pm on Saturday for food. When we arrive we were told that they stop serving food at 7pm. We had a quick drink and left. The staff we friendly and the place looked very clean

There was a leak the night before which meant the kitchen wasn’t in service. Nobody bothered to contact me to inform me of this, so we turned up not knowing food wasn’t available. We were then left with nowhere else to go because it was a busy day (hence why I booked in the first place!) I was even sent a text message the night before confirming my booking(that I was charged for replying to!). It wouldn’t have been that hard for someone to contact me and inform of the kitchen leak.

Only one person on duty (did a great job though) and he had to serve behind the bar, put food orders in, deliver the food to the tables and everything else. He had no help on a Bank Holiday which meant lots of waiting. Very limited vegetarian options, what we ordered was not on the menu and the substitution, when it arrived was overcooked and dry. Other meals options were okay but nothing special. Pretty disappointing experience, as a pub okay but for food no thanks,

1st time here. Pub is nice with large outside area. The pub seemed popular with the locals for drinks and TV sport but the food was disappointing (didn't see any other people eating). The staff were very pleasant and polite. Garlic bread was lovely, so we were looking forward to a tasty meal. The rest of our food was hot but sadly it was very bland tasting and I'd say a little overcooked. Food seems to be lower quality frozen food that's heated up and small portions (1st time I've been thankful for a small portion). Definitely wouldn't eat here again.
