Robun is a tribute to Japanese author Kanagaki Robun and his 1872 book Seiyō ryōritsū, which introduced Western barbecue to Japan.

Our modern-day interpretation of Yakiniku specialises in sharing plates of beautiful robata grilled dished large plates fused with elements from across Asia, paired with inspired cocktails and an extensive choice of Japanese whiskeys or sake in the most inviting and sociable of settings.

Alongside our innovative selection of sashimi, salads and small plates, our fresh sushi is served in a variety of creative incarnations including soft-shell crab futomaki roll with kimchi mayo and a tobiko-topped nigiri.

Upstairs in the Kanagaki Suite, we provide an events space and cocktail bar set to host celebrations and events. Besides hosting bespoke celebrations and meetings, the Suite opens up on weekends for a place to drink and dine!

Robun is the place to relax, unwind and enjoy sharing plates with friends and family. It will definitely leave you wanting more.

Service and atmosphere were good, but food overpriced and so-so. Sushi was decent but all non sushi items were disappointing. Only 3 beers offered and out of Sapporo, as well as a few menu items? Would not recommend or return.

All dishes arrives in the same moment. 8 dishes for 4 people in the same moment. 15 minutes after arrive we had finished. Incredible!!!

Absolutely superb food. Staff friendly and professional. Cant fault the food. A bit pricy but you get excellent quality Japanese food. We will certainly return. Also restaurant decor superb.

Delicious food beautifully presented. Lovely atmosphere although traditional Asian music would have taken this to a 5star level. A great restaurant to go for a special occasion

Je ne pense pas que ce restaurant vale d’être une recommandation Michellin. Les plats étaient bons mais pas excellents et le rapport qualité prix mauvais car un peu cher pour ce niveau de cuisine. Déçue

It is happy dining experience in a pretty decent environment with nice attentive services. Food quality is overall good but not authentic Japanese style. It is a pity the salad we ordered as appetizer carried some bitter taste. The Waygu slices were less juicy as they should be. The fried rice was a bit plain in taste and perhaps less evenly fried.

Nice to have sushi in Bath...something different. The restaurant was good. I am used to Sushi in California, so there was no sushi bar, or ordering as you go, which was fine. I look for fresh fish and creative dishes. This restaurant delivered on those requirements, hence the four stars.
