Welcome to Roberts Scratch Kitchen. We are a fine dining continental cuisine BYOB scratch kitchen restaurant located in Totowa New Jersey. Serving lunch and dinner with daily specials, offering a full Gluten Free Menu. Our modern spacious dining room is finely detailed, cozy, and relaxing, with a trendy classy feel.
At RSK our food is made from scratch. We do not use any ready-made prepared foods. Our kitchen has no freezer. Food is purchased fresh daily. Meals are homemade in the restaurant kitchen just a few feet from where you are dining. We also ask to bare with us as it is hard to find staff and we try to keep the prices as low as possible due to the high food costs these days and also trying to find the product in these strange times. We only use top of the line high quality provisions. On weekends we have a 90 minute table time for 2 tops and 2 hour table time for larger then that on the earlier seatings.

                                                                                  This was our first visit to Robert's Scratch Kitchen and we wish we'd learned of them earlier! My spouse has Celiac Disease and it was great to find a restaurant that is so knowledgeable and accommodating of the need to be Gluten Free. Both of the waitresses asked us if there were any food allergies before taking our main course order and then before our dessert course. This place is unassuming from the outside and beautiful and romantic on the inside. It is a small space so the sound from other tables is heard - yet it wasn't too loud while we were there on a Monday evening. We both loved our meals and the service was great! We recommend RSK for people looking to have an upscale meal with a friendly staff!

                                                                                  We move Roberts. The food is excellent and service is amazing and its a BYOB. I had steak with grilled shrimp broccoli rabe and roasted potatoes. My husband had a pork chop pounded thin butterflied in vodka sauce with side of penne.

                                                                                  At first glance the menu items seemed pricey, but once served the portions were very generous, the food quality was excellent and the service was outstanding. I found it to be a good value and enjoyable dining experience.

                                                                                  This was our first time at Robert's Scratch Kitchen. Don't let the outside of the restaurant discourage you, the atmosphere inside is quite nice and cozy. We were all impressed with our appetizers and meals. The pumpkin ravioli were perfect. My husband said his Bronzino was the best he has had. I felt that my Chilean Sea Bass was a bit too "fishy" but still good. Our out of town guests were satisfied and impressed by their meals. We love that the wait staff communicates the specials and desserts with an iPad showing a picture of each item. Every restaurant should start doing this. We will be back to Robert's again!

                                                                                  Lovely accommodating staff pleasant upscale atmosphere but the food is just not up to snuff. A simple cream of mushroom soup was ice cold and watered down We both had fish which was overdone and dry. Fish should b moist the sides were obviously precooked Disappointing for $150!
