Food was delicious however the service was not good. Had to ask for everything and waiters walked around tables but were not proactive in clearing plates, refreshing glasses etc. beef was exceptional but the lamb was very fatty and only served two small slices. Waiter did ask the chef to add more meat which they did and was welcomed.

Lovely atmosphere - great food - good portion sizes. Additional sides were plenty for 3 people to share. Would definitely visit again !

Our meal was very good. I usually do not order burgers when I am out dining. Our burger was 👌🏾👌🏾. We will visit Roast again.

The beef looks better then it tastes, I wasn’t overlay impressed and the service was awful, slow and missed sides off orders which then came too late. Lovely venue though.

Food was good, not epic but good. For the price tag, you'd want epic. Service was terrible, sides arrived 20 minutes after the mains. Wine arrived 40 minutes after the mains. Overall not worth it.

The food was lovely. The atmosphere was reasonable. However, I have never been dealt with so swiftly by a waiter at a place where you pay £35+ for a main dish - he practically threw the water at us. We asked for still water, he opened a bottle, and filled all our glasses up to the top, emptying the bottle, and then automatically opened another one and left it on the table - I thought this was particularly cheeky. The food was good, and so was the ambience at a surface level, but it felt a little like a conveyor belt. We booked over a week in advance, we were asked to confirm twice that we were still coming, and then still had to wait for fifteen minutes in a long queue of people, who also had reservations (there were only four of us - it wasn't a logistically difficult table). It had been made very clear to us that if we were late we would not be seated, but we were happily left to stand in a long queue well past our dining time. They may be popular, and try to cater to lots of diners, but at massive detriment to their customers, though the decor and ambience were nice. As an aside, the men's toilet was miniscule, especially in ratio to the amount of diners and staff -- using the urinal means touching the back of another person, and being brushed by the person trying to leave the only cubicle. Go for the food, not for anything else, and try to avoid a busy time.
