The second floor spaces have rooms to accommodate from 16–250 people. Perfect for corporate events, meetings, receptions, birthday parties or any celebration. Our event staff is ready to assist you in creating the perfect event. Menu options include plated breakfast, lunch and dinner service, boxed lunches, buffet style events, cocktail receptions, chef stations and more. Honestly I am disappointed. My friend and I both came to Roanoke this evening to celebrate my college graduation and acceptance to grad school, and a work bonus for her, and I put those details and the “special occasion” in the reservation note and NOTHING was acknowledged. I’m very disappointed. Service was very slow and while the food was good, the over all lack of care to our special celebration was disappointing. I don’t think I would recommend or return.

The service was horrible mm. Getting to order took over 20-30 minutes just for the server to ask for a drink refill or take our order.

Arrived with my partner early for our reservation with many tables open. The hostess asked if the high-chairs right in front of the cash register amid heavy traffic was ok, but we said “no, thank you, we don’t have two babies with us”. Well, we didn’t say that, but… We were led to a different spot in the back by a hostess with a level of annoyance that was hard to quantify on a scale of 7-10. A pleasant, rotund garçon approached our table, asked and answered a few questions, but did not return to further enrich our experience. Another server, who had not yet completed the “Congeniality” or “Attentiveness” training modules, replaced him. The appetizer and main courses were good. The decaf was potable, but if you’re not in a rush, you will still be warned against it because “IT MIGHT TAKE 10-15 MINUTES”. The Black Forest cake was likely made in a hollow tree by demoralized elves, rather than in the kitchen by a pastry chef, professional or not. Dry, with a couple of canned cherries pushed into some cheesecake, and what might as well have been Bosco squirted on the plate in a few places to make it look nice. The decor was haphazard brown and olive-green faux elegance, heavily padded seating, enormous mixed media chandeliers (read: weird), and mirrored tile with an intentionally weathered “retro” look, but to me just appeared as though the mirror hanger had spit tobacco (or worse) all over it while the drywallers were sanding, and no one ever bothered to clean it off. Overall it seemed that, except for our first jolly waitperson, there was no effort to make their guests feel welcome. Oh, and the bathrooms are up two flights of stairs, but you can ride the elevator if you can find it. We were strangely shocked that we didn’t have to tip the attendant.

The Roanoke salad is one of my favorites in the city and the service was excellent. We were in and out, perfect for a business lunch.

I took my daughter and her friend to a pre-theatre meal at Roanoke with a friend as a graduation present. I had the salmon, the girls split a steak frites and a salad, and my friend had lasagna. We were all pleased with our food selections. When we had to run to the theatre and the restaurant offered to store our left overs until after the musical. They put our name on the food and we grabbed it on our return. It was such a nice offer. I really appreciated the staff care. We will definitely be back!

Made a reservation and still had to wait to be seated behind someone who didn't make a reservation. When we were seated, we ordered food and sat there for 45 minutes while everyone who ordered after us got food. We never received food, even after talking to the server, who just mumbled "sorry" and disappeared to do nothing at all about it. I have absolutely no interest in trying to eat there again.
