I love this place and they have one of my favorite Caesar salads in the city. We did the brunch this time. Service wasn't great, didn't know the menu, not attentive. Brunch good, but not the level of service we expected.

Our dishes were a hit or miss. Some were fantastic but others were very mediocre. Service was poor, still eating apps before our entrees were sent to our table. Then waited a long time for desert to becoming ready.

The online menu showed a pre concert dinner choice; but it wasn’t offered due to it being restaurant week. We wouldn’t have walked 6 blocks in the cold if we’d known this. Food was good; server was pleasant but was behind most of the time. Expensive for the experience. Not sure we’ll go there again.

The cocktails were excellent and the food was very good. We had a reservation for a large party and they accommodated us very well. Vegetarian options were limited but we were able to have menu items altered to suit. We especially appreciated that the ambient noise level (primarily any background music) was low and we could hear one another talk.

The food was ok but I was unpleasantly surprised when I ordered a glass of cognac after the meal and they asked me if I wanted it on the rocks. And then they brought it in a whiskey tumbler instead of a snifter.
