This restaurant is a mixed bag - the food is usually quite good, the service is friendly, except for the owner, but unfortunately last evening only half of our group thought their dinner was good - the brisket, which is usually wonderful, was almost all fat, they were out of baby back ribs at 6pm on a Saturday night and the pork ribs were so-so, there weren't any cornbread muffins because they had burned them, but the burnt ends were quite tasty. The mac and cheese is always a fav, the baked beans were wonderful and the salads were bountiful. I know that it was busy there but it took 30 minutes to get water, over 45 minutes to get cocktails (only 4 cocktails), all in all we were there for well over 2 hours which is a long time to sit at a table. Our waitress was a bit harried but very friendly and as accommodating as she could be under the circumstances. When we came in I asked the owner if he had received my phone message changing our reservation from 6 to 7 or 8 people. They don't answer their phone until 5:00, so I had to leave a message earlier in the day. His response was, not: "Hello Ladies, it is so good to have you back again." but "Well, which is it? 7 or 8 - we're busy and I need to know." No "Hello, Enjoy your meal" etc. which is typical. Why? He had already set and reserved our table of 8 - what would he have done if we were only 7? Put us at a table of 6? Not once did I see him go around to any of the tables to see if everyone was happy, nor did he thank people as they left. I have a problem giving my money to people who don't act as if they care whether or not I am there (with 7 other people), and beyond that, act as if they are inconvenienced that I am supporting their restaurant.

Roadhouse ribs never disappoints and tonight was no different even though they were out of Babyback ribs. Love the food and staff and they Bend over backwards to make the meal and evening perfect

First time there. Food was very good and cocktails were great. Our server was attentive and followed through on our requests. The manager checked with us to be sure we were happy. We plan to return.

The place seemed okay when first walking in. We had a reservation and were on time. The person greeting was a bit stand-offish. Place looked nice enough. Once seated we started to notice it really needed a good cleaning. Cobwebs and spiders next to the table and around the walls. The drinks took a long time to arrive. They were out of several main items on a Saturday night. We had the brisket which was okay. We also had the ribs and they were heavily salted. So much so that it was hard to eat more than a couple pieces. To top it all off my wife and I both got sick from the food.

Baby back ribs are delicious and an excellent value at $26 for a full rack and two sides. Recommend the loaded potato salad and green beans. Deanna provided superb service, making sure we had completely finished our tasty fried green tomatoes appetizer before bringing out the entrees. In the past we found that the main course can arrive very fast sometimes before your starters have been consumed, so you may want to request spacing the courses out.

We invited two couples to join us for Friday night Prime Rib. All three gentlemen ordered the prime rib and they loved it. One of the wives selected salmon and was pleased with the presentation. One of the other wives had the Filet Mignon and I noticed at one point that it looked very dry. I asked her if she thought it was overdone and she agreed. I noticed that she requested a "to go" box. I had the Brisket Sandwich. It was fabulous! We love this restaurant and will return whenever we can schedule it.

Great food and a lot of it for the price. The flash fried and seasoned green beans are a must have! Only negative is a gravel parking lot, especially since it rained earlier in the day,

Food was good. Service was not. Took 25 minutes to get our drinks. We were served main course after 50 minutes. The place was not crowded at all.
