Great music, great food, & great service by our server, Maria. A little loud with a packed crowd celebrating the return of great music to The Roadhouse.

Glad that the Roadhouse reopened! The food was very good and the service from the wait staff was excellent. A few things are holding back from being 4 or 5 stars. The tables are packed right next to each other. We sat at a table that was feet away from the bathroom in the back room and had to move each time to allow people by. Understand how expensive meat it for sure. But all was a la carte. Steak tips were about $32.00 with no veggie or starch. Each would be $9.00 each. Highlight was the return of the Chicken Homard! Just like it was over the many years! Noise level was very loud, the music from the speakers was very high. Could barely hear the person across from you. Many good things for the Roadhouse, do need a few adjustments. Would consider another visit at a future time. Please fix that table by the single bathroom for 2. Not overly acceptably.

Food was very good & piping hot. Service was a little slow, but not because of the server: Too many diners were seated in his section within 10 (or so) minutes of our arrival, which meant everyone's orders were put in at the same time, which lead to longish wait times. Perhaps seating folks in different sections to spread out demand would work a little better? Lighting in restaurant was also a little bright for us (but now I'm just being fussy). Overall, it was a good dining experience. We are very happy the Roadhouse is back open - it was always one of our favorite spots, especially in the winter. We will be back, for sure!

There were 4 of us dining. Our check-in time was 5:45 and 2 of us were on time. The waiter took both my husband and my drink orders. Soon, the other couple joined us and put in their drink orders. Their drinks came right out, my husband needed to change his order because they didn't have the bourbon he ordered and we both waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. I ordered a whiskey on the rocks which they had, but the waiter forgot my "lemon twist." He then asked to take our order which went well and told us he would bring us rolls. It was another 25 minutes before they came out...5 minutes later our meals came. I think the place is going to do well after they work out "kinks" they have. We will try it again in the future.

We tried out the new Roadhouse Cafe because to Bart Weisman Trio was playing that evening. The food was tasty and the service was promt and graciould certainly return.

The restaurant was packed when we arrived. We never thought we'd be seated! But in fact within minutes we were brought to our table. Our waitress, Lilly was prompt and efficient. Clearly very busy. They didn't even have enough water glasses. But the food was great. Cooked perfectly and served warm! We were actually surprised. We will go again on a quieter evening.

Initial part of visit was just okay as didn't get seated until 35 minutes after reservation time and slow bar service. Once seated, everything was excellent, great apps, great food and great service. Will go again and hope they get reservation thing figured out.

The Roadhouse was a great place for dinner and was my go to when attending a Melody Tent show. Recently re opened, the new version just didn’t meet expectations. First concern was ambiance. This was not a pleasant dining experience. Far too many tables, and people, in the one dining room. The noise level required you to shout across the table. Tables were so close together that we had to stand up and move our table so our neighbors could “ escape” from theirs. Second concern was our waitress. She was pleasant but it was obvious that she had not been trained well. She knew very little about the menu and could not answer standard food allergy questions. She also failed to check back with us after we ordered and food delivered. Last, value was lacking. The food was middling, but items on my plate were cold, and pricing seemed mis aligned with the overall dining experience. Entrees were $40-$50, but if you wanted a side, those were ala carte at $9 each. That doesn’t make it the most expensive restaurant around, but it just doesn’t line up with the overall dining experience.
