Food was great, our waiter Christina was great, dragon roll, popcorn shrimp, Shashito peppers, lamb chop, sliced steak all fabulous and must try!

We sat at the sushi bar and Matt the sushi chef was amazing! Our server took a long time to check on us but Matt kept us entertained.

This was our third and last time in Ro. The food was not like our prior times there. It was salty, extremely spicy and definitely not worth the price. The waiter was attentive but needs training on how to serve wine. In my opinion it all comes down to poor management.

I went to Ro for an early dinner. I started by having a drink at the bar because I arrived well before my reservation time. The bar staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Tokonatsu drink was suggested to me and I loved it. Such an unusual and delicious combination of tequila, lemongrass, lime, and just a hint of sweetness from the yuzu soda. The manager, Eric was at the bar and heard me talking about how much I loved the black salt on the rim. He explained that it is lava salt from Hawaii! Such a friendly staff! Between the staff and the great tunes from the DJ, the bar was a great place to relax! When my friend arrived and we were seated, Jovan, our server was friendly and helpful as well. My friend decided on the Shinshun drink which was garnished with a beautiful orchid! She was very happy that it tasted as good as it looked! With Jovan’s suggestion, we enjoyed the popcorn shrimp-such a great flavor, and the baked avocado with shrimp and crab and sabayon sauce, oh my!! I look forward to trying a table side treat on my next visit!!

Amazing experience! The spicy karage was so good! The Peking duck was great but the duck fried rice was exceptional. Will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere is evident right when you walk through the door. Service was friendly and proficient. And above all the food was all amazing, but if it’s your first time stick with their specialty which is the Sushi selection. The Yaki Avocado and Shishito Peppers are also a must.

Definitely recommend trying this place out. A bit pricey but the quality of the food makes up for it. I was a little disappointed though that I could not try the Peking Duck, as you are supposed to call and order this in advance. I was unaware of that and I don't recall seeing anything on their website saying that you have to order in advance. There were 2 Peking ducks hanging in their glass case where they put them, but my server said that he had to save at least one of them for a larger group that was coming in. He didn't even know if they were going to order it yet but decided to save it for them instead of giving it to me and my family, which I thought was really stupid. We were visiting from out of town so you can imagine how disappointed I was. In my world, if it's on the menu and I want to order it, it should be a first come first serve deal instead of saving it for a big group, just because they're going to spend more than I am. He couldn't even tell me if the big group called in advance for the duck either. So for me, as good as everything else was, this left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. In addition to that, the other thing that disappointed me was that I tried to order 2 spicy tuna hand rolls for my wife and I but the waiter told me that it may not be possible as it will take over an hour for the sushi chefs to do that for me, which I can't see why it would take an hour to make 2 handrolls. I understand it wasn't exactly on the menu, yet I've always been able to order it at 99.9% of all sushi restaurants I've been to, regardless of whether it's actually on the menu or not. Our server did an okay job and we got our food within a reasonable amount of time. The interesting thing is that the couple sitting next to us complained about our same waiter for not giving them much attention and not getting their food after waiting for nearly 40 minutes. So I guess service can be hit or miss.

First, I must apologize for the dining experience, start to finish. You were kind enough to give us four stars, but from reading your review, we seriously dropped the ball and there are countless coaching opportunities here for us to dive into.
