The food here continues to shine. Having been here twice in two months, the core issue is evident. The bar area has an indoor and outdoor portion, with the sliding window/doors being open when there are people sitting at the outdoor bar portion. When these windows were open during these August and September visits, it is very hot and humid, but Ro refuses to increase the air conditioning (if it's turned on at all). Multiple complaints were made across both visits but the appearance is that they do not want to pay extra utility costs knowing that the AC at a lower temperature will have all the cold air escaping the restaurant at a faster rate when their bar window/doors are open. This most recent visit became too unbearably hot and we had to go to Meat Market down the street. What was fascinating at Meat Market is that they have a bigger indoor/outdoor facing area, had all of their sliding glass doors open, and it still felt cool in the rest of the restaurant. Ro's price point is far too lofty to cut costs with air conditioning and unless they make some policy changes, it may be hard to visit here during warmer months. Unfortunately, its location in Tampa will limit this severely as it is warm during the evening for a majority of the calendar year.

Was really impressed with the service. Food was also amazing but the the service really made the restaurant stand out. Our waitress was attentive and had great recommendations!

Our server was fabulous. She was very attentive and happy. Unfortunately, the food is just average. We sampled several appetizers and 5 sushi plates.

Appetizers were very delicious but the entrees are much smaller and less filling but flavorful nonetheless. The noise level is much less overwhelming during weekdays but on Friday nights it was much louder.

Great service and delicious entrees. Our waitress made some really good suggestions. I ordered the lamb chops, they melted in my mouth. The duck fried rice was Divine! If you’re hoping for dessert, there isn’t a menu for desserts, but they gave us an in house vanilla ice cream that they prepare themselves with a strawberry ganache and matcha crumble which was the size of a small ice cream cup. I have to say it was really tasty. We definitely look forward to returning.

Our party celebrated a birthday with the omakase lunch and it was an amazing experience. The food was wonderful, plentiful, and beautifully presented. The chef was very friendly and informative and, when he discovered that we were celebrating a birthday, kindly and generously provided a sweet surprise that was unexpected and very appreciated. The service was friendly, unobtrusive, and attentive and the location itself is clean, light, tasteful, and very comfortable. Excellent value for money - we left incredibly full after having had a wonderful time. Highly recommend; we look forward to going again to try other offerings.
