Rix is a 10/10 for us! Food was amazing. Environment is so welcoming and unique. Our server Kelly was phenomenal. If I could request her every time, I would! We will be back :)

We were sat at a 2 top right next to the stairs. Every person in and out had to walk by us. The open air patio space is set up in a such a way that it traps sound and echos back into the restraunt. The food was good but the atmosphere made it impossible to enjoy. Service was very average.

My second visit to Rix was impeccable. India is a server extraordinaire! She added a bit of spark and fun to our otherwise enjoyable time without being intrusive or interfering with our socializing. She was perfect ! I love the menu and the quality of the presentations and the food was again excellent. My only wish was that the menu was more extensive - because then I would be visiting Rix more often.

Great location and food. Weird gap between courses. 2nd course took forever to arrive.

We had high expectations for Rix and decided to go for our anniversary. The ambiance inside the restaurant is phenomenal. Unfortunately, even with a reservation, we were sat by the stairs where people were constantly walking by us on both sides. I didn't even seem like we were really sitting in the restaurant. The hosts were rude and seemed like we were bothering them to be seated. We've eaten downstairs at Post several times and the food is fantastic, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and carried on expecting a similar food quality. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 drinks, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. The appetizers were ok, but we would not order them again. Drinks were good, but expensive. We both ordered the tenderloin entree medium rare. My husbands steak came out perfect, mine was almost well done. I have never sent anything back in my life, until now. It came back out still so overdone. We are talking almost no pink in middle done. The did ask if it was ok...I said it was better and carried on. I didn't want to wait again as my husbands food was sitting there getting cold. Even the potato salad that the tenderloin came with was hard like the potatoes had been cooked a long time ago and were starting to dry out. In the end, this is close to our house, but we won't be back, which is a shame. For a similar priced meal we will continued to visit Bowdie's, MDRD or Margaux.

From drinks to appetizers to main course to dessert, everything was top notch from start to end. Kelly took amazing care of us and we truly could not have had a better family dinner night out. We cannot wait to come back and are so thankful and appreciative that RIX, The Post, and Ada Hotel joined the neighborhood!

We had a lovely experience at Rix in Ada. Went with the walleye and the steak. Calamari for the appetizer was really good. Cooked to perfection and good spices on the complimentary dishes. Excited to continue to come back and try out more menu items.

Excellent food and cocktails - pricey but worth the entire experience/ ambience/ view!

Drinks took forever, appetizers were good, entree's mediocre, staff poorly trained and no one in management following up on our experience. Was very disappointing, was hoping for a better experience in such a beautiful space.

First cocktail order (1 manhattan and one vodka on ice - not complicated) before dinner took at least 20 minutes to be delivered - notwithstanding that the restaurant seemed to be about 1/2 full and plenty of staff - including 2 behind the bar. The second cocktail order by one of our party of three was totally lost and had to be requested a second time another 20 minutes later. The server did bring us complimentary 1/4 glasses of wine during the delayed first order. Server was a bit condescending. Everything other than service was stellar.
