Wonderful atmosphere/ambiance! But Very overpriced! Food was average, chicken was dry. Very small portions! Scallop dinner $38 for 3 small scallops on a bed of mashed squash. I could have ordered 2 meals. Awful wine selection! We sent 1st bottle back because it was so bad (reds were way too light for my taste, no full bodied cabs at all). Be prepared to have a very expensive meal and leave hungry. If you enjoy wine with your meal you will be disappointed! $350 for dinner for 4 people and left hungry. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Maybe for drinks (not wine) and apps.

wow - we were hoping for so much more - heard this was supposed to be the nice restaurant at the new Ada hotel but i would say the Post downstairs is better

Great spot, the ambiance is great. The menu was focused on local seasonal food. We had a great time and will definitely go back.

Food was quite mediocre. Wait staff wasn’t quite as well trained as other high end restaurants - sort of what you’d expect from a nicer pub. Ambience was nice, except for the table next to us who were likely a bit tipsy and quite loud.

Rix has a 4 star review for a couple reasons . The menu is interesting albeit quite small. The Duck Wings were amazing, The stacked & caesar salads delish . We are huge seafood Lovers and the Walleye was somewhat dry and not too impressive. Our Adult Kids said the chicken entree was decent . We are wine snobs, therefore thought the wine list was just average. By the glass, only a couple of white wines worth trying. Ambience is very nice, the new hotel is lovely. Our service was just ok. We will go back for the share plates alone.

Came for our anniversary dinner. The setting was lovely but disappointed at the quality of food for the price. Also very slow service. Will choose other options in the future over it.

Overall experience was very good. The wine pours at both Rix and Post are minimal for the price compared to other restaurants in the area. Appear to be 2.5 to 3 ounces compared to a normal 4 to 6 ounces at most competitors.

The atmosphere was awesome. Great outdoor area with heaters. We started with the Stacked salad and elite corn humus both were very good. Then we had Calamari that was prepared very well. For our main dishes we had Scallops and bacon on the bone, which was a fabulous pork chop sitting on top of a sweet potato mash. The flavors in both dishes were done very well Highly recommend

Beautiful new restaurant! The atmosphere is amazing. The food was good, but not a lot of choices. They ran out of tonic water (?) and had no decaf coffee after dinner. Maybe just because it is new?

If you are seated outdoors bring a winter coat as the heaters were not enough.
