I was SO excited to try out this new spot as the vibes are immaculate. Only to be extremely underwhelmed. I had a 8pm reservation and got there at 7pm as i figured it wouldn’t be busy (only about 5 tables taken) I was sat and it took a server a solid 15 minutes to even say hi to us. No waters were given until i asked about 30 minutes following the first greet. Drinks were good but food was horrible. With how amazing the atmosphere is i just wish at the minimum the service was decent so it could be a go to drink spot for me. I understand it’s a new establishment but when there are nearly no tables full, you would think service would be top tier. If this place wants to make it, they really need to pride themselves on good service and expect more from their current staff. I will be giving this place another shot after a few more months of being open. I really hope to see a significant difference. I don’t make this review to be rude. I really want this place to make it. And minor changes need to be implemented for people to be repeat customers.

Food was really well prepared. Service was slow and wait times were unacceptable. Something to workout is all. Really nice place with great food.

Great new spot for West Michigan. Noce spot in Ada along the Thornapple. .An excellent, if not extensive menu. Will return.

Excellent cocktails and food were excellent as was the service. The menu is limited. We had the walleye and the scallops. Both very good. Would return to try the shared plates next time

Rix is a 10/10 for us! Food was amazing. Environment is so welcoming and unique. Our server Kelly was phenomenal. If I could request her every time, I would! We will be back :)

We were sat at a 2 top right next to the stairs. Every person in and out had to walk by us. The open air patio space is set up in a such a way that it traps sound and echos back into the restraunt. The food was good but the atmosphere made it impossible to enjoy. Service was very average.

My second visit to Rix was impeccable. India is a server extraordinaire! She added a bit of spark and fun to our otherwise enjoyable time without being intrusive or interfering with our socializing. She was perfect ! I love the menu and the quality of the presentations and the food was again excellent. My only wish was that the menu was more extensive - because then I would be visiting Rix more often.

Great location and food. Weird gap between courses. 2nd course took forever to arrive.
