Welcome to Riwaz Beaconsfield.
It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others.

The menu of creatively enticing flavours and spices includes dishes created and cooked by Atul’s grandmother. Lunch will showcase our set 2 and 3 course menu plus the Jugalbandi set menu of four courses for two to share (£35pp).

For a time-honoured experience, the evening A La Carte menu offers characteristic main courses complemented by a great selection of wines, cocktails and customary Indian drinks. A gourmet 7-course Tasting Menu (£65 pp) will be available in the early evenings (Sunday to Thursday). All of this customary deliciousness pays homage Atul’s Indian upbringing and the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengali, Orissa, and other regions.

We went for the tasting menu this time. We were not disappointed. Each course gave us new taste sensations and new spices. At the end we were pleasantly full, not bloated. We did not go with the wine pairings though I did try the recommended Indian Shiraz with my main course which was a great surprise, lovely and smooth. We love this restaurant and will return soon.

We had the set lunch menu with Prosecco for £23. It had a decent variety on the menu. My feedback is that the main dishes were not temperature hot and also the selection of deserts could be more Indian recipe inspired. Deserts could have been more creative.

We booked Riwaz for my parents wedding anniversary. The staff made the evening very special. We will definitely be returning.

Food was OK but short on seasoning; had to ask for additional as not already on the table. Crab cakes contained some residual crab shell. Felt that overall it was a little overpriced.

The fish starter is amazing.. the butter chicken is too rich for my liking (and way too much sauce vs chicken - more would be better)..

Lovely tasting menu by the chef Asish. The plates were interesting and innovative and as an Indian cookery writer myself, I found each dish infused with great flavour - right amount of spice but also subtle. The incredible garden out the back was such a beautiful environment. The wine was very reasonably priced and the service by Gokal was attentive and friendly. This place is romantic but also family friendly and would be ideal for large parties. Highly recommend. Good parking outside too!
