Beautiful award-winning waterfront restaurant at the Riviera Dunes Marina in Palmetto next to the convention center. Featuring fresh seafood and other creative dishes in a casual setting, often with live music. Varied menu, affordable and with something for everyone.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. Our large patio is on the water at the marina and offers views of beautiful boats and sunsets. In addition to our reservable area is our large outdoor bar space with 1st come, 1st serve seating.

Inside are two dining rooms, another bar and a reservable "Captains Room" that seats 20 (Call for reservations on this)

We can accommodate groups of most sizes but please call for groups of 8 or more.

Featured performers play Wed-Sun from 5:30-8:30 including Eric Von so please book early. Plenty of seating in our 2 indoor dining rooms, bar and banquet room Again - We will always try to accommodate your seating request, but we cannot control how long people stay at tables.

They did not honor the reservation. The hostess was polite but got yelled at by her manager to forget reservations, make a list and start from scratch. The manager was rude , ye they were busy but rude unseemly behavior is unacceptable. I have no idea how the food or drink was because we were never even served. The bars were a zoo , they only worked on servers both inside and out . Tables went uncleared , customers brought in drinks fro 7-11 because no one would serve you. It was in a word a SHITSHOW !

Continues to struggle. Service is challenged if understaffed for busy Friday night as we had last night. Our server: Outdoor bartender with no barback, also waiting on a many tables - which was a wild stretch. Too much for 1 person. Orders were slow. 30 minutes to take order for drinks and food. Over 60 minutes for get food delivered. Cobb Salad came out with no dressing. Talked to two runners. And they never got the dressing to us as they said they would. (Photo will show why) I had to go and interrupt the serving window with 40 backed up plates to get it myself. Salad was good. Shrimp tacos also good. But clearly was sitting in kitchen for 20 minutes and were cold. Ate them any way. Ordered Cole slaw. Got fries. Ate them anyway as no one asked if order was ok. Only after the meal was done. Riviera Dunes. Ongoing challenges. Need to improve on planning and management of personnel. This was not an issue of our server. We had others at our table t had issues. They just let it go (salad with wrong dressing; missing ordered items, etc. Didn’t expect help to work). Great venue great band ALOHA SHARKS.

Good meals Cobb salad was large and crisp. We tried the crab cakes. Very large, fresh tasting. Like a potato pancake size/style. Music outdoor with Aloha sharks was awesome

First time at the Rivera Dunes Dockside. All 4 meals were delicious... Scallops with corn risotto and vegs; jambalaya; fish and chips; and salmon. Will readily go again.

Volcanic shrimp my favorite appetizer. The service by Sara was excellent: attentive, fast, and pleasant. The outdoor patio ambience, food quality and service was what we needed to return there again. See you soon!

The only reason that it didn’t get 5 stars is because it’s a casual restaurant but some of the food prices are higher than they should be. Otherwise it’s great.

They took care of of the issues by not charging us for returned meals. But honestly the food has taken a turn for the worse. Martini olives were putrid. So much for a $10 martini. They changed out the olives for my second martini and those too were foul tasting. S Grouper tacos fish was foul. Tasted of ammonia. Returned. Got a burger. It was good. Friend got a Ceasar salad for $14 that was lame and peaked. I hope management rights this ship or it’ll capsize.
