Definitely more than expected in a good way! The online photos undervalue the true ambiance! The food was really good and flavorful but the risotto was a bit tough but still very flavorful! Aaaaaaaaand I can’t let this review go without saying how attentive our server was and the ohhhhhhh soooooo AMAZING BAR TENDER HALEY! HANDS DOWN THE BEST ESPRESSO MARTINI IVE EVER HAD! She had me feeling like leaving all cares BEHIND! We shall be returning!

My last experience dinning at Riverwalk was not as good as it had been in the past. The service was slow and the food was subpar. Hopefully under its new management it can regain the level of service it once had as a dining establishment.

Our foursome all ordered the scallop dish. It contained 5 medium sized scallops, some pitiful small asparagus spears and the heavy mushroom risotto. It was flavorable but overpriced at$38. Our red wine and crème brûlée were very good.

Good afternoon, I'm sorry you did not have the best experience dining with us. I am glad that your meals were flavorful though! For reference, we base our prices around the current market price. For a delicacy such as scallops, this price is constantly changing and has become far more expensive in recent years. Thank you for your understanding

Wonderful experience overall. Wait staff were attentive, menu is fantastic and food was excellent. One ate beef, two had chicken and 1 had seafood! All of the entrees were very good! It was quiet enough we could actually talk without yelling at each other!

Our server Haley was amazing! She had excellent timing with our courses and everything was so delicious. The hush puppies are out of this world I wanted to eat a dozen! The location is right along the York River and it was a beautiful breezy place for dinner! The place is beautifully decorated and very clean. Highly recommended!

Reserved table had been given out, management was apologetic and provided a nice alternate table. Tried to order clams from the menu and was told that they are no longer servicing clams and switching to mussels. Ordered the She Crab Soup and Crab Cakes, both very good. Service at the table was good.

So glad this place is open again. The bar at Riverwalk is one of the best kept secrets in all of Yorktown. Beautiful view. Excellent food. And fantastic service from our bartender, Haily. 10 out of 10. Will be back with in the week

We’re so glad Riverwalk has reopened! Such a beautiful, quaint spot to stop in for a casual lunch or for a celebratory dinner. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. Our server was delightful and made the experience that much more perfect. She was well versed in the menu and had great suggestions. The management was welcoming and made us feel at home. Will definitely return!
