We go to RCB often. This time my dinner was not good, steak has a huge amount of fat that made it un edible. The service was excellent as always, the manager took care of dinner . We will be back.

Not our first visit to RCB, but the first disappointing one. The two cup of soups and half sandwich orders were (French onion soup & Grill Cheese, Loaded potato & chicken salad) tasteless. The Cobia and the Southwest chicken wrap were passable. Not the type of offerings that we had come to expect from RCB over the years. It will be a while before we return. Sad.

Dear Chuck, I am sorry to hear that your visit was disappointing. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction on every visit and it seems we missed the mark this time. Unfortunately, we are human and sometimes things aren't as perfect as we would like them to be, but I hope that from your previous visits you know that isn't what a typical RCB dining experience is. Did you by chance let your server or a manager know while you were here? We never want someone to leave not enjoying their meal with us and would have fixed it for you on the spot. We will review these items with our chef team to make sure this doesn't happen again. It is the last evening of our vacation in this area. I thought I would choose an easy meal tonight, one that is usually good wherever you go - fish and chips. The fish was so tough, I literally couldn’t cut it! A manager happened to come over just at that moment and ask how our meal was and I told her I couldn’t cut through my fish (Alaskan cod). She apologized and took it away. She returned and said the chef was going to cook it himself. This took about 20+ minutes. When she returned with it, she explained they had been performing quality control as this was the second same complaint tonight. However, to be honest, although the fish then tasted ok and cut easily, the batter was soggy inside and unappetizing. The chips were very good. I left most of the fish and I wasn’t charged for my entree. Now I’m back at my hotel and I’m not feeling good, my stomach is upset and I’ve just taken Mylanta/anti nausea meds etc. I don’t think I’ll be returning to RCB.

Dear Jaine, I apologize that you didn't enjoy your fish and chips and that you weren't feeling well after you left. We take pride in every meal made at RCB so when the fish was tough we did take some extra time to see what was wrong as that is not typical for our cod. Chef Trevor made the second order himself, and I apologize that that one wasn't up to par either. We never want our guests to leave unhappy and hope that the next time you are in the area you will give us another shot as this was not how a visit to RCB should be. From the minute we walked to the door a beautiful young lady met us and had a great personality. The hostess was so sweet. The food was outstanding, a huge amount. Our waitress was a dear. Thanks for my sister in laws birthday desert. From the manager all the way down everyone was so friendly. We live in Charleston, SC. I wish y’all had a restaurant down there. Thanks again for a great lunch!!!

Delicious halibut with pecans, Brussels and mashed sweet potatoes. Tuscany pork chop with mashed potatoes was excellent. Isaiah our server is always attentive and pleasant.
