The new look Riverside Restaurant & Bar is located on the ground floor of Hilton Belfast in the heart of Belfast. Every day in Riverside begins with the famous Hilton Buffet Breakfast offering a wide range of international and local breakfast favourites. Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast with panoramic views over the River Lagan from our floor to ceiling windows.
The Dinner service offers the best of local cuisine. We pride ourselves on seasonal changing menus celebrating the very best in local ingredients.

The Belfast Waterfront Hall is right next door making this venue ideal for Pre Theatre dining before attending a show. Pre-Theatre dining is available on show nights.
Groups are welcome with large tables of up to 20 diners. Semi private sections for up to 40 diners available upon request.
The Restaurant is available for private hire every lunch and dinner time for parties of 70 to 150. Contact events.belfast@hilton

Booked a table for my partner and I. We arrived 15 minutes late, on arrival we were told the kitchen was closed by 1 of the staff members but then another staff member went to speak to the chef. My partner ordered fish and chips and I got the panfried salmon with risotto. Food came slightly warm and my partner Got a child size portion of the fish and chips. We could count the chips on the plate. We were not impressed with the size of the portions compared to the price we paid for the dinner. I dont normally write reviews but I just feel like if the chef didn't want to accommodate us he should have refused we wouldn't have minded as we could have gotten a takeaway delivered to the hotel. We are both food lovers and we were highly disappointed with the standard of service from the restaurant staff. We enjoyed our stay with the hotel and the breakfast was amazing in the morning.

Understaffed waited so long for meal we ask for bread. Then charged for pre theatre which we didn't have. No one asked if we would like drinks. All in all I will not be dining here again. It was my friends birthday treat from me not good. .

Despite booking table for 6pm we waited for our order to be taken until 6.30pm and had to summon staff to take it. We had a theatre booking for 7pm. We ordered a portion of breads for one with tapenade etc, but this didn't arrive. Eventually a large basket of bread with butter arrived, just before our mains. The batter on the fish was far too thick and the chips were undercooked. There didn't seem to be anyone in charge. Eventually, after being summoned from another part of the hotel, the 'manager' took charge and reduced the bill. We have been using Hilton for pre-theatre dining for ages but the service was the same last time.so we will not return and will not recommend it to anyone else.

the decor is nice, warm and comforting. The staff very good. I love the big windows around with view of the river. the food was gorgeous. We had curry, salmon, steak and lamb. all fantastic. We stayed overnight and the breakfast sausage & bacon was amazing

Attended here for a valentines meal. The standard of the food was amazing. The staff were all so polite and a special mention to Max who was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be back here again.

Allow plenty of time. Beautiful restaurant and delicious food but service was slower than we would have expected. Our party of 3 arrived just after 6pm (for dinner before a show at the Waterfront Hall at 7.30pm) and our food was not served until 7pm.

We had one and half hours before show at Waterfront service was appalling - we had to cancel dessert provision of gluten-free food was poor and waitress knowledge of same was non existent- couldn’t even supply gluten-free biscuits with cheese state disappointed by experience

Having read some of the reviews before attending the restaurant we were slightly anxious about our visit. We had nothing to worry about, and had a wonderful time. The staff were simply amazing and engaged so well with us and our children. We ordered the slow cooked beef, it was delicious, and the sea bass was perfectly cooked with crispy skin. We would return with no hesitation, thanks to the staff for the positive experience.

Rude staff,didn’t know drinks menu,handed a mug (would expect cup and saucer )of coffee at table with no milk sugar etc when I asked for some he replied with ‘give me a minute ok’ Coffee cold and tasteless,coke flat.Returned to bar,no apology,blank stares and rude responses,clearly bad mouthing me as returned table amongst each other. Brought dessert no spoons,had to ask three separate times for them! Brussels cold and hard,and portions very small. Paid over £250 for meal(included mandatory service charge which I would never have paid as the service was absolutely horrific) I am happy to pay for good food and service-which is what you’d expect from Hilton,and would have understood if it was busy as it’s Christmas,but restaurant was quiet. Would never ever return.So disappointing. Don’t waste your money or making memories at this place!!
