View of the valley is great. Food is usually pretty good. The server named Smokey is very good at his job. So is Katie. Janet runs a close second, but it would be nice for the appetizers to come out before the salads. Minor point, but still. And the other server who is usually there, while she is pleasant enough, has a lot to learn, preferably from Smokey or Katie. We try to avoid her area; the others that work there agree.

I've always had marvelous food at the Bear River restaurant except for this last time, which was Valentine's evening. The chicken breast, which was quite large and nicely cooked, had no sauce. no sauce at all. So... I was disappointed to say the least. I've had salmon picatta at that restaurant and it was beyond delightful with zesty, lovely sauce. This time, it was a big nothing. My friend had the scallops wrapped in bacon. First, the bacon was barely cooked, and again NO SAUCE. I'm afraid this restaurant is now pretty far down on my list.

We are regulars we bring our 1 year old son with us to dinner and the staff is very nice and accommodating. The prime rib is some of the best I have had.

There was one station for the buffet for all of the patrons in the restaurant as well as all of the bingo attendees. This made for a long wait in line as well as long wait to get the station refilled when food ran out. Having an extra station may have helped.

Brunch buffet food was good. Waiting was ridiculous. We had reservation but we were not seated for 15-20 minutes after reservation. We then had to wait about 35-40 minutes in line to get our food. I feel river's edge was not prepared for this buffet. They should of had two buffet stations and to be able to serve yourself on both sides. Not sure if I would do this again next year.

We were very disappointed. We set reservations to make sure we would enjoy prime rib buffet dinner. My husband is blind so I sat him down and I got a plate of food for him. At the end of making selections for my husband, I asked where the prime rib was. They told me that they ran out and it would be 30 minutes until ready. I made my plate and we sat down taking our time eating, waiting for prime rib to come out. Approx 30 minutes later I asked our server ( I believe her name was Katie or kathy) where was the prime rib at. She told me she would double check. She came back stating it would be another 30 minutes before ready. We finished up eating and paid our bill and left. We come to many buffets and regular dinner nights there and we never had any issues before. We just want our prime rib dinner that we paid for and didn't get. We would like a free comp meal for a wednesday night prime rib dinner

My family and I had Thanksgiving buffet. All the food was great and the wide variety of desserts was great and the ones I enjoyed were delicious.

We went for the Thanksgiving Buffet. It was delicious! Exceeded our expectations and I think it was even better than prior years that we've gone. The service was excellent. Very attentive but not in the way. We all commented on that, particularly my 93 year old father in law.
