The cocktails were all extremely sweet and the food wasn’t that well seasoned. Views are great.

We were seated in a window seat with a beautiful view of the detroit skyline. Service was reasonably prompt and very professional and cordial. Our drinks were exactly as expected. The food was served in a timely way and piping hot. Seafood linguine, braised beef gnocchi and lamb shank all marvellous. Prices were very fair. We were there on a Sunday evening before a show at the chrysler theatre so the restaurant was quiet. Lovely side room for hosting private gatherings suchbas a bridal shower or anniversary party. We will definitely be back!

Not very good. Great view of the riverfront. This place should be a gem, but it falls flat and is very underwhelming.

Service was excellent. Food was very delicious. Servers were great also checking on us to make sure our drinks & food was ok. Also was a special occasion was my fiancé’s birthday they brought out a beautiful slice of cake and was singing happy birthday. Will definitely be coming back. Keep up the amazing work 😊

The service was slow, food was very bland and clearly not fresh. Cost was not acceptable for the lack of flavor in our meals. The view was great!! Could be excellent dinning experience with proper ownership and leadership. Clearly poor on both.

First time at The River Room and very nice dining experience. Very spacious and beautiful view of Detroit. Started with wine and appetizers and delicious and we weee not rushed. Dinner was burger and fries and pasta. Everything was hot and delicious. Would definitely go back and our waiter was very nice and polite.

Food was delicious, but delayed. Noise level was too much. Service was polite but very delayed. Great view.

Thank you, Diamond! You were awesome & the view, the food especially the chicken Caesar salad were great. We loved the Pinchos too. Overall a great experience and we hope to visit again when my elder son comes back from his overseas assignment.

First time trying the Dinner at the Double Tree River Room. Ordered fried calamari, onion rings, river room burger, seafood linguini and a chocolate truffle cake. I wouldn't order the Fried Calamari as it was probably not fresh and tough to chew and didn't have any flavor at all. The river room burger was good but it tasted like a frozen patty was grilled and didn't get much flavour. The seafood linguini dish was amazing lots of seafood in every bite. Chocolate cake is sweet and delicious. Overall 3.5/5. Service was amazing and a great view.
