Enjoy a lovely dining experience with Afternoon Tea at the Riverdale Inn! Our tea room features classic afternoon tea items such as petite pastries and desserts, delicate finger sandwiches and our famous homemade English scones with fresh clotted cream and jam. It is an experience to share with friends for a special occasion or any day of the week! Located inside the Riverdale Inn Bed and Breakfast, our tea room is open 7 days a week and is located just a short walk away from 5-Points and Memorial Park.

Beautiful Inn with friendly staff and the tea service was excellent . Delicious assortment of tea sandwiches , desserts and scones . The best scones and tea I have had outside of Great Britain . Highly suggest for any gathering

Overall the experience was good. Other than the two strawberries weren't fresh. But were both bruised with dark spots. It would've been an extra added bonus if there were a brochure on the beautiful artwork around the Inn. The server is very attentive.

The place was beautiful, the service was very good; the host was very attentive. We were provid a small 3 tier assortment of sandwiches and pastries for 3 people. The amount of food for the price we paid was not worth it at all. It would have been worth the money if there was a larger & fresher selection of finger food. Although we could request refills for our tea, it would have been nice if the tea pot stayed on the table the duration of our dining experience.

There was very little food for the price and It was all prepackaged. I would have thought for the price it would have been made fresh. Very small which would have been nice but there was a large party in the tiny room with us which made it seem very loud and crowded. I would not recommend.

This was the worst tea I have ever experienced. I enjoy going to afternoon tea but this one was not enjoyable. The only tea they offer is a pot of premade English Breakfast. The food was just not good. I didn't even eat any of the desserts. Pretty much every item was premade from Sam's. The 2 strawberries offered were half ripe. And the "scone" was basically a biscuit with sugar on top. If you are wanting to enjoy an afternoon tea, I would suggest going somewhere else.

It was a nice change. However for the price it may not be worth it. Website also saying business casual yet the server was way too casual. Food was great- however not having butter for scones or milk for tea doesn’t fall in line with traditional tea time. The sugars were not filled either.

We had a lovely tea with excellent, attentive service. The scones were warm just out of the oven as they should be. The finger sandwiches were tasty, particularly the egg salad sandwich. The tea room itself, in a historic Jacksonville B and B, is delightful! The tea, while no choice was provided, was a delicious black tea and was kept fresh throughout our time there in silver tea pots. If I were to suggest room for improvement, real clotted cream instead of whipped would be nice, and a few more homemade sweets, but for the price, it was a very good value and an overall excellent experience!
