Enjoyed the experience of the venue and the food. Gordan Ramsey walking through to the restaurant with his wife was a lovely surprise.

Made a huge error in ordering the Fish & Chips - very poor for the price and restaurant - should have gone with another dish. Scallops were amazing. Slow with drinks - confusing between wine and food waiters. Better restaurants in London IMO.

While expensive, I must say The River Restaurant serves quality food, the staff and ambience is great. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves at the restaurant.

What a shame, really been looking forward to this, but I’m sorry to say the food for all 3 of us was at best warm, the mussels lukewarm warm with very little sauce. The char baked bread was not good as it was quite burnt leaving an after taste so we left it. Our server was incredible and very apologetic. Very pricey for what the food is but I suppose rent & rates need paying.

Great food and ambience. Outstanding service. This is my 5th time to this place. Never disapponts. The Christmas decor was just perfect.
