We walked in at 6pm there were a few tables already...I'm not sure what the steps of service are but our waitress gave us quite a lot of time with the menu before coming over. She was clearly walking around the perimeter of the restaurant to avoid tables. We ordered and food arrived promptly. I asked for a menu to continue ordering. When I ordered more I also placed a drink order. A simple seltzer. The drink didn't come until all of the ice had melted. And our food was gone. The waitress never came to check in with us or see how everything was tasting or if we needed anything. It was not a warm experience. The best part was the view. Multiple times I was planning to leave cash on the table and go elsewhere for dinner. Such a shame I have waited so long to enjoy a meal at this property

Beautiful setting right on the Hudson. The food quality was excellent. Cocktails also great. Servers are young, so it’s not the highest standard, but they were kind. Wine list is very limited and pricey. Definitely one of the best meals you will get in the Hudson Valley

Restaurant was not busy, so no excuse for poor service. Arrived at 7pm, Pizza and meatball apps were fine. Main course arrived at 8:50pm. French fries were cold, grain bowl looked like it was frozen food and was about 1/3 the size of what a dinner portion should be. After waiting over 1 hour for our meal, one of our party was told her entree was not available. Sent hamburger back to kitchen looked un-eatable. In the end entire meal was on the house. Pavilion better get their act together.

What a great way to kick off Summer '24! This was a special day. I drove up from the city for afternoon cocktails with friends outside of Woodstock, with dinner planned here. I had visited in mid-July last year with other friends and knew it was the perfect place to celebrate an important birthday. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Our table host was a charming young woman who could light up a room with her smile. She was truly kind-hearted and attentive to our special meal. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were on point, and the view of the green lawn and Hudson River was simply spectacular. What made it magical was the manager. We connected on the way in over a health issue one of my guests was dealing with. She was so generous of spirit and thoughtful in her engagement that I will forever associate this beautiful setting with her and the kindness she showed. If by chance you read this, thank you, thank you, thank you. You touched us deeply. It was truly a wonderful evening. Thank you for helping create a memorable moment that I will always look back on with a smile. Here’s to many more visits this summer!

So excited that the River Pavilion is back open for the season. It has the best views of the Hudson River. We had a great brunch directly beside the river and enjoyed the live music. The burger and wood fired apple pancake were both delicious. They have a gluten free pizza dough option which was great as well. Can’t wait to come back on a Friday or Saturday night for drinks and dinner.

Our Mothers Day dinner started off well as the two gentlemen who met us out in the parking lot were great. They drove us in the golf cart to the restaurant entrance and dropped us off. We were greeted by the receptionist who offered the Moms Tulips and then proceeded to seat us at our table. We did not realize the place was open to the outdoors and the weather was cloudy and cold that day. If I had known when I made the reservation we would have dressed for the occasion but all of us thought the place was in doors based on the conversation I had with the woman when I made the reservations. The receptionist offered blankets to the ladies but still did not help and also said they would bring another heater but never showed up. The one heater that was there ran out of gas and the moms were chilled to the bone. There was 6 of us my mother in law who is 88 has dietary restrictions and can only eat Gluten free. She found something on the menu and ordered it. When our dinners came three were prepared as ordered. The other three were not. The burger that was ordered to be medium to well done was raw, the other was ordered to be rare and came out well cooked. And lastly the gluten free order came out and when the server was asked if it was gluten free he said he did not know and then the waitress got involved and realized it was not gluten free and had the cook prepare another meal which came out 30 minutes after everyone else’s. The waitress was very apologetic and brought out desert free of charge and did not charge for one of the dinners. She was very polite and tried her best to remedy the dinner. We got up and left and asked the receptionist to get the golf cart back to bring us back to our car as my mother in law cannot walk long distances and then waited 20 minutes for the cart to come and get us. I saw the write up in the Hudson Valley Magazine and thought this was a great place to spoil the moms in my life and unfortunately was very disappointed.
