We had the sweet potato chili. Very original and a huge portion. The winery is exquisite. Recommend Chardonnay:)

A lovely venue! Highly recommend. The food is delicious as well as some of their wines. A beautiful country setting!

We were celebrating a few milestones. Our table was perfect..the view is excellent and we were far enough away from others so that we could hear each other. Matt, our server, was delightful as ever. Very attentive and accommodating. The food is exceptional and well priced for the quality and quantity you get. They acknowledged a birthday we were celebrating with a scrumptious Brownie with ice cream that we could all share. Well done River House. Of course we'll be back!

A great afternoon visit with lunch - the grounds & restaurant are beautifully decorated. The wine tasting (they are excellent wines & worth the purchase). Lunch was fantastic. A great venue for 2 for lunch or a 100 for a special occasion.

Felt like a California winery experience; beautiful grounds, settled in the vineyard, with a spectacular hosting facility, serving good wine and a broad selection of delectable food options.

Had the most amazing supper at River House Vineyard & Winery. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the service beyond expectations! They have something on the menu to meet most (if not all) dietary restrictions, including an incredible gluten free brownie that you would never guessis gluten free! Can't wait to go back!!

It is pricey, but so is everywhere these days. It is a beautiful building, gardens and surroundings with excellent, chef-prepared food. The only things that could do with some improvement are noise levels-with the very high ceilings and hard surfaces, the sound carries and amplifies. Also, in the outdoor area, both up and down, seating can be a little awkward/uncomfortable for seniors, especially if you are trying to eat-ie: if you want shade, your only choices are a very hard picnic table, Adirondack chairs that you fall back in, or in the covered outdoor restaurant area, much of the seating is bar height tables and chairs. Otherwise, it is a lovely venue, with amazing food and wine, very friendly staff and a great spot to bring friends and family. We are very grateful to have this amazing Winery so close to many cottagers. 🙏
