    Iconic Michigan restaurant that has been serving up excellent food and service for decades. Beautiful dining room with amazing views of the river and the Canadian shore line. The menu specializes in fresh fish and seafood from around the world. We enjoyed the Scallop appetizer along with the great bread basket served with salmon spread. Entrees included Mahi Mahi, Alaskan Halibut, Crab Cakes and Lemon Chicken all of them prepared perfectly. For dessert we enjoyed Key Lime Pie which is one of my favorites. We dined on Saturday night and the restaurant was full but not overcrowded. The ambiance was great as we listened to the music from the piano bar that can be heard throughout the restaurant. We have dined here for decades and are always impressed. Can’t wait to return!

    Water view room was humid & warm. NY Strip steak was gristly, beware that charlies chowder was not chunky--it was all minced--a broth. The server noticed it was virtually untouched and offered to bring the clam chowder instead, very attentive service. Prices are not reflective of the experience, my wife and I expected much more upscale. Service was good.

    First time based on a friend’s recommendation. Anniversary dinner and wife loves waterfront dining. Requested a table in the notes of reservation with a good view outside. Weather was cloudy with some light rain and was given a table inside right next to windows. Great view and enjoyed boats and one freighter passing. Food was excellent with some old Chuck Muer favorites even though a Landry’s establishment now. Server was excellent too. Will return. Decent dock to tie off a boat.

    Exceptional dining experience. Lily was an excellent server. Food was also great. Cannot beat the view or the ambiance.

    We love the River Crab for the view, the food and the hotel. This time our initial service was not great - waited for our table, waited for initial service and waited for drinks. We had to ask for the bread basket. However, the food was excellent and service picked up after the initial issues. We will be back and definitely recommend for a summer visit in particular
