Located in an historic miner's cabin on Pearl Street, River and Woods serves Colorado Comfort Cuisine. The culinary team prepares whimsical interpretations of traditional comfort food and a carefully curated boutique bar program rounds out the River and Woods experience. Absolutely amazing evening! Gorgeous environment, incredible food and staff that makes all the difference. The intimate environment lends itself into a calm and comfortable experience, elevated by the food. Highly recommend!!

Heard great things about this place and was excited to try. All 4 in our party found the food disappointing. None of us finished our meals. Food was heavily salted - to the point that you tasted little else. Chicken was dry. $300 for the 4 of us for a disappointing meal.

Always good vibes here. Great food + service. Accommodating with food allergies/sensitivities. Definitely recommend.

Employees were very very nice but they all looked greasy. Service was a little slow to start, but then became attentive as dinner went on. I had the trout and it was dry, bland, and very very oily. My husband had the short ribs and it was extremely tender but the vegetables were undercooked. They were out of Meati, their mycelium protein, which was a bummer because that’s why we went there.

Great menu, food was excellent quality and cooked and presented very well. Drinks menu was innovative. Nice space and very good service.

Great laid back, calm, family friendly atmosphere. Prompt service that did not feel rushed. Generous portions of unique, tasty dishes. Look forward to enjoying this special spot again!

Our second visit. We planned a trip to the Boulder area for our anniversary and a concert. We purposely made an outdoor reservation - side patio. I called to confirm too. We walked in and were informed our table was to be inside right next to the front door as someone else had been seated in our space (we arrived 10 minutes early). No one from management stopped by to apologize for the situation. The server and the food were fine. We won't be back.

Food was fantastic. Love the look and feel of the space. Inside seating is VERY loud so be prepared for that on busy evenings.
