Located in an historic miner's cabin on Pearl Street, River and Woods serves Colorado Comfort Cuisine. Employees were very very nice but they all looked greasy. Service was a little slow to start, but then became attentive as dinner went on. I had the trout and it was dry, bland, and very very oily. My husband had the short ribs and it was extremely tender but the vegetables were undercooked. They were out of Meati, their mycelium protein, which was a bummer because that’s why we went there.

Great menu, food was excellent quality and cooked and presented very well. Drinks menu was innovative. Nice space and very good service.

Great laid back, calm, family friendly atmosphere. Prompt service that did not feel rushed. Generous portions of unique, tasty dishes. Look forward to enjoying this special spot again!

Our second visit. We planned a trip to the Boulder area for our anniversary and a concert. We purposely made an outdoor reservation - side patio. I called to confirm too. We walked in and were informed our table was to be inside right next to the front door as someone else had been seated in our space (we arrived 10 minutes early). No one from management stopped by to apologize for the situation. The server and the food were fine. We won't be back.

Food was fantastic. Love the look and feel of the space. Inside seating is VERY loud so be prepared for that on busy evenings.

We dined outside on the lovely backyard patio. The food was excellent from starters through desert and the service was friendly and prompt. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Ive been coming to River and Woods for years. Over the past 2 years the food has gone down hill! I ordered the farm salad and it only had wilted lettus some shaves carrots and a small dab of cheese. I did not finish my meal as many times before. My birthday guest both felt the food was just not that great and the price for value not there. I will not be returning or booking any other special dates at R&W

Very good food and great service. Some items on menu, like duck confit, are ridiculously overpriced for a tiny duck leg. Chivken and waffles were excellent. Gnocci were huge and gummy and not great taste or texture. Awesome farm to table concept and good taste on most items. Duck wings were excellent and far larger size and value than the duck confit dinner entre.
