The Rivalry House is the go-to spot for cold beer. Homecooked Irish-German inspired American pub food in Historic Downtown Antioch. Thursday, Friday & Saturday Night Entertainment 8pm-11:30pm. Karaoke Tuesdays with drink specials and $6 burgers 4pm-9pm. Steak night Thursdays 4pm-9pm and drink specials.
Sunday Brunch 10am-3pm.

It was absolutely amazing. Took my fiancee their with our daughter and a friend of hers. I called the day off and asked if they could do a candle in a dessert and they said absolutely. Waitresses we had very kind and pleasant. Our daughter who not even two yet loved it. It was the first time we have been able to stay long at a restaurant without her getting crazy. It was slow we had the second floor patio my daughter was able to walk around Without disturbing others. First time I have been their. I would definitely do it again.

First time at Rivalry and I am looking forward to my next visit. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Started with reuben rolls and cheese curds. I had French onion soup. Others had a large salad, a huge burger, and a short rib melt. The truffle fries were good, but probably npt eorth the $3.99 up charge. Great alternative to chains like Chili's or Red Robin.

Very nice and accommodating establishment. The Irish egg rolls were fantastic. Very good service from the hostess to the wait staff. Thought my pork tenderloin was a bit overdone but other entrees such as the salmon and the burger were very good according to others in my party. The pretzel with caramel was decadent as was the Banana bread and I could have just eaten those and been more than satisfied. This is a must stop when in Antioch, Illinois. Thank you👍👍👍

Took ten minutes for a server to approach our table. I reversed a table on the roof a week in advance, they called me two hours before my reservation and told me that it was not available. The food was ok but lacked flavor. The music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. I’m also not sure why it was so loud, there were about 12 people in the restaurant.

Spatles and beef, a gravy gooey mess . Shepherds, pie was actually a beef gravy with a mound of mashed potatoes in the center. No crust.

Overly was a great little place that I went for the first time. I met a friend there and just had drinks and appetizers on their rooftop. Place was clean and well lit on the first floor. The second floor was closed but walked thru it to get to the rooftop. I can’t really rate the noise level because I was outside most of the time. The service was excellent and the appetizers and drinks were really good. The parking was small and tight, but I understand as it is an older building in a small downtown area. I was also a bit surprised as the restaurant closed at 3pm and then reopened for dinner later but I didn’t see that posted anywhere. The server was really nice and let us stay until after close to finish out conversation. I would definitely go there again.

First time there. Good food. Excellent service and view from top outside deck was great. They have live music every Friday & Saturday night.

I made a reservation here for Mother’s Day for a party of 8 and showed up to a closed restaurant. Not sure why I was able to get a reservation and have it be confirmed if they knew they would be closed?

Absolutely incredible food and the service from Kevin was even better! Try the Epic Schnitzel or the Spaetzel Beef Marsala, you will not regret it.
