We love this restaurant. The service is always so good. Attentive but not intrusive. A fantastic bar area for pre and post meal cocktails and great playlist.

Arrived 15mins early to be told to wait at the empty bar were it took a good 10mins to be served as the staff were talk in with themselves, we finally got a drink and then told our table was ready. We ordered our food, I requested a Caesar salad for a starter and a main course of meatballs- the starter was ok and the meat balls was not to my liking. The service was very average and the bill was not right as the the starter had been charge as a main which was adjusted on request. It will be a very long time before we go back to Riva Blu- Disappointed customer

On arrival we didn’t sit Outdoor as looking cheap chairs on a pavement. Internal decor nice. Nice cocktail to start. Food quality very poor and poor value. The salad both tiny and leaves taste getting bitter like old leaves. Pizza extremely hard base, soggy middle and nothing fresh, couldn’t eat it all my jaw was tired! fries fatty. Nothing great about anything and this was our second attempt as first wasn’t great so thought perhaps try once more. Won’t go again

Nice service, nice food, although if I order a portion on calamari, I wouldn’t like half the portion to be made up of peppers and courgettes. I asked for calamari, I expect the order to fully consist of that. Thankyou.

From the welcome by all the team to the special cake for my wife's birthday everything was perfect. The food is to die for and a wide choice too. Great service but maybe don't rush starter to main . Lovely choice of wines and cocktails.

Been here twice now and travelled all over Italy - for me, the food here, is the closest I’ve had to the real thing out in Italy. Couldn’t recommend it more and will 100% be back soon.

The service here is always amazing. The food is good but it does vary sometimes depending on who is cooking I guess. For example last time I went I enjoyed some lovely olives on my pizza that was crushed into small pieces. This time I had less cheese and the olives were whole. All in all it’s a really small thing and I continue to eat there with large work parties and close friends about 10 times per year when I am in Birmingham

Food was ok but the service could have been improved. Had to ask twice for water, took ages for anyone to come and take a drinks order (we had to go and find someone), and cabinet behind the bar was flashing which we had to ask to be turned off. First waiter said that was impossible but someone did manage to do it. Probably wouldn’t come back again.
